Awesome service, great and punctual people. Very respectful and they go out of their way to do a good job.

Another quick update to my previous review. Due to a difficult 2018 health wise for me, we managed to wait too long to have Kalos clean our wall units, so the blower wheels needed to be removed and cleaned, an extra $174 each, to make a total of just under $450 for the service of our mini split converters. I am beginning to suspect that maintaining this Mistsubishi system might be more expensive over the long haul than a more conventional central a/c unit, but I really like the setup, with its ability to provide both cooling and heating, so while I may no longer recommend it as a system to others, I am satisfied with it for our situation.

The best company in Clermont, fl. Technician were professional, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Sales and customer service were personable and answered all our concerns. I would recommend this wonder company.

Excellent company to deal with, very responsive ... had our a/c replaced, the work was done in a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner. The team showed up on time and did an excellent job, they went over everything with us and the cost was exactly what the estimate was. Very satisfied customer and plan to use Kalos on a regular basis to keep our a/c in top shape. Call them ... you won't be sorry!

I'm going to echo what someone else said, stop reading reviews and just call Kalos. I had an issue with my unit icing up, and their service tech, James, found the problem, my fault, I had knocked a wire loose cleaning the unit and misplaced it. He also checked everything else out and it only cost the $75 service charge. He also mentioned that we should always run the unit on ""auto"" and not ""fan"" and explained why. The next day, I found that on auto the unit wasn't turning the blower off. Another tech, Bert, found that a relay was sticking and there was no charge for that second service call! Both of these techs were SUPER! Explained everything, all my options and costs, and put on no pressure. Excellent!

I've use Kalos a couple times before this most recent service. Previously, they were able to diagnose, repair and eliminate a problem with our air conditioning that even the original installer was unable to do. This was an easy one for them, clogged drains from the air conditioner. So why have them do such an easy job? Because they came the same day I called, cleaned the drains and installed a system that will prevent future overflows. It was extremely reasonably priced, the problem is solved, and is guaranteed! Need I say more? These are professionals. The tech knows what to do and how to do it. That's it. Stop trying to jerry-rig the thing yourself or follow the you-tube instructions. Call Kalos. You will be happy you did.

This review is long overdue. But to make things simple for you: stop reading reviews and call Kalos.
These guys are hard working, honest, responsive, and thorough. A year ago they steered me straight when another company was looking to rob me blind. They handled the full replacement of my ac in my rental property , working with my need and my budget. They also replaced my electric breaker panel. It was wonderful having the electrical team on the same page as the ac guys as timelines were in sync and the project was all handled in a very timely manner. Upon installation of the ac they discovered a few minor hiccups Whig they could have easily pushed off on me and held up the job, instead they quickly solved, keeping me informed the whole time, and came up with strong solutions to protect my home and their product. Working late into the evening and even the rain, these guys got it done and held firm to their quote. My tenant has been very happy with the new a/c and Kalos will be our go-to guys for all things electrical and a/c related in Orlando.

Knowing the HVAC industry, I have researched many companies to have my relatives in Central Florida depend on. Kalos is that company. Get this, the owner actually trains the entire industry (for free) thru a podcast. The normal responses of ""you need a new unit"" were refreshingly not heard when any of the Kalos techs had diagnosed a problem. Every person I've talked to from this company actually know what they are doing. So far the prices have been lower than expected, with quick diagnostic and several options for repairs, each promptly performed. Fair to low prices and knowledgeable technicians are not really common in the HVAC world, it's refreshing to find a great company when I'm so far away. Thanks for the great work guys.

If there was a zero I would leave it. I wasn't going to leave a review, but then I couldn't understand how they had such a good rating. First they said they would be here at 1:30, they didn't show till 7:00 pm. 2 service men came out and looked like they where pissed because they had to come here. The first thing they did was hook the gauges to see the pressure on the unit, then immediately said it was a $300 part that was not working"" expansion valve"", so he started to crush it with his pliers.I took a pic of the crushed part. then they proceeded to tell me it was 4 to 6 lbs low on freon, i asked maybe that is why the valve wouldn't open he said no. he added freon and the system and it started blowing cold air. I asked again if the valve wasn't working how is the system working now.( in the mean time common sense told me it has a leak). he said to me it isn't working and it needs a valve and freon. needless to say he wanted to charge me $400 for freon and service charge. My wife and I told him to take the freon out and we will pay for the service charge. I called DEL AIR, they came out the next day found the leak and replaced the A coil, the system works great except the service man from DEL AIR said the valve may not switch to heat because someone crunched the bulb. KALOS still haven't cashed the service charge check. In summary the A coil had a leak and the valve was fine, I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Our AC stopped cooling on a Sunday afternoon. Kalos was prompt, supportive and professional. And this was on a Sunday! Our system was more than 20 years old and beginning to fail. The Kalos service team quickly provided a full proposal with options to choose from. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, no up-selling . We are very pleased with the level of professionalism and communication both with the techs and home office. Kalos now has a long time customer with us. We'll definitely be sending our family and friends to Kalos.
One more thing. With our system being so old, we received a new ""smart"" thermostat. I don't like having to figure out new technologies. Tyler picked up on this and handled it all including the sync to my phone. There was nothing left for me to figure out. He patiently stayed until he saw that I knew exactly how to work things. And he did this after nearly 9 hours of hard work installing our system in 98 degree heat & intermittent downpour rains. Great people. Thorough service.
