In 1981, K-bar Electric (Kenneth Bryant) and Texas Electric (Delbert Barry) united to create K-bar Texas Electric Inc.. Donny Barry began overseeing operations in 1997 and became the owner in 2001 following his father's death. The company originally specialized in oilfield electrical work. As the years passed, we diversified into commercial projects, home services, and hydrovac excavation.

We have maintained family ownership since 1980. I took on a management role for the owners in 1997. I acquired the business in 2001. Our growth has been steady since that time.
