The year 1981 saw the merger of K-bar Electric, under Kenneth Bryant, and Texas Electric, managed by Delbert Barry, forming K-bar Texas Electric Inc.. In 1997, Donny Barry took over management of the company and acquired it in 2001 after his father's passing. At first, the business concentrated on electrical services for the oilfield sector. Over time, we expanded into commercial construction, residential services, and hydrovac excavation.

The company has been family-owned since 1980. I took on a management role for the owners in 1997. I acquired the business in 2001. Our growth has been steady since that time.
