K-bar Electric, founded by Kenneth Bryant, merged with Texas Electric, led by Delbert Barry, in 1981 to establish K-bar Texas Electric Inc.. Donny Barry began overseeing operations in 1997 and became the owner in 2001 following his father's death. The company originally specialized in oilfield electrical work. We gradually broadened our offerings to include commercial construction, residential electrical work, and hydrovac excavation.

We have maintained family ownership since 1980. I began managing the company for the owners in 1997. In 2001, I became the owner of the company. Since then, we have experienced continuous growth.
