The year 1981 saw the merger of K-bar Electric, under Kenneth Bryant, and Texas Electric, managed by Delbert Barry, forming K-bar Texas Electric Inc.. In 1997, Donny Barry took over management of the company and acquired it in 2001 after his father's passing. Initially, the company focused on oilfield electrical services. We gradually broadened our offerings to include commercial construction, residential electrical work, and hydrovac excavation.

Since 1980, the business has remained in the family. I took on a management role for the owners in 1997. I acquired the business in 2001. Since then, we have experienced continuous growth.
