I was doing a remodel on my kitchen and needed additional outlets with GFCI/AFCI protection installed in a difficult position. I also needed to upgrade my oven from an old 30 amp circuit to a new 40 amp circuit, and needed a new 40 amp circuit for an induction cooktop. Needless to say, this was all something beyond the abilities of a DIYer.

Johnny Electric was able to answer all my questions regarding the National Electric Code, and installed all of the above at a reasonable price. They were professional and courteous, and even came back when two of the outlets weren't functioning as expected.

Honestly, I thought this would be like going to the dentist or a car dealership, but this was actually a good and smooth experience. If you're in the Irvine area, I highly recommend Johnny Electric.

Had some electrical issues on a Saturday called them in morning and was able to speak with someone immediately and get them scheduled to come out later afternoon. Both electricians were very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. They explained issues, fixed them, and made suggestions, which I appreciated. My GFI outlet in my kitchen didn't work properly and caused some outlets to not have power. I texted Johhny Electric and they were able to send someone out the same day. The repaired the issue and even identified an issue with my breaker. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely use Johnny Electric again.

This review is a long time coming... I reached out to Johnny Electric back in December 2022 to add a circuit to our panel because we added a plug-in hot tub in the summer and then started experiencing issues with the circuit breaker because of a hair dryer being on the same circuit... Johnny was quick to respond to my request and scheduled a weekend visit to assess my needs. He provided a quote at that visit and had his guys out there within 2 weeks. His crew was awesome. I even added another circuit for future use. All work was done professionally and I have had no issues over the past 3 months. I highly recommend Johnny Electric!

I highly recommend Johnny Electric. Their electrician was very professional and quick. He installed an eyeball LED can light in our living room and two outdoor lights for me at a fair price. He provided some helpful lighting advice and fixed a light bulb in my wet bar at no charge.

Highly recommend Johnny Electric. Small family run business. We needed some cameras hooked up which is essentially like hooking up 110v floodlights. Most vendors I met charged a markup but they were the only vendor that said ""power is power"".

Why I recommend them: 1) They are honest 2) They are communicative. 3) They are efficient. 4) They are free of any drama.

I worked with many disappointing vendors, it hertz thinking about them. That's the end of my review, sorry I'm coming up short.

Chris is awesome! He listened to me describing the situation and immediately was able to pinpoint the root cause. BAM!! Found the shorted aluminum wires (1970 house) down stream of the circuit breaker.

Top quality! It's so difficult to find a reliable and friendly electrician. I needed to update the amp at my warehouse and I searched high and low for an electrician to come out to my shop. Johnny was not only responsive but gave me a fast , fair quote and besides that guaranteed his work which you won't find in this field. Don't take the cheap stupid route of finding a random handyman , hire a pro like Johnny and get it done right the first time around. They are legit the best. Thanks for everything.
