Again if I could give Jake 10 stars ,I would!!! SCE would not allow new electrical panel to be installed where it was built in 1951. Jake installed 200 amp service panel in another location- worked with SCE and obtained city of Torrance permit. Added a pvc conduit ground system, trench conduit for feedback of circuits from new panel location to new junction box, removed old service panel and fed circuits from new location, installed all new breakers and label panel, installed conduit and gfci for sump pump for new driveway, installed outlets inside house, installed outdoor motion sensor lights, dug out trenches to hide conduit from main panel to sub panel, etc, etc. Fixed my recessed lighting put in my kitchen 2 years ago improperly by another electrician. ( lights flickered since they were put in new kitchen. I now can enjoy my kitchen , the other electrician installed wrong electrical and Jake diagnosed problem and fixed it. I no longer have candelabra lights flickering in my kitchen ).
Jake and his employees are so professional, make it look easy, hardworking( work nonstop from when they arrive ), cleaned up everyday before they left
and asked me if everything was acceptable, they could not be sweeter- amazing people. Pricing is good. I couldn't be happier with the job. I have referred Jake to several of my friends. They are also so happy with his work. He knows it all!! You will not be disappointed.

Horrible work and always blaming everyone else. If you love your home don't use this company. Before you know it you paid $$ for nothing to work. You will be lucky if you get your work finished at all. Always blamed other contractors on job site and plugs still don't work at all and have been out to many times and still can't figure anything out. Don't believe their friends 5 star ratings.

Jake is a smart and diligent Electrician. He has worked through issues with the wiring in our home until the problem was fixed. He figured out what was wrong after trying many different ways including the original wiring of the home when it was built. I am extremely grateful for his work and kindness. I felt safe having him working in our home and will definitely be recommending him for any electrical needs to friends and family.

Years later and we are still having to clean up the poor work done by this company. The owner subcontracted the job to two young guys that weren't qualified for the job. We keep finding issues that they were hired to resolve but didn't in our attic. We found wires totally burnt out and ready to start a fire any second today!

I remodeled my bathroom cabinetry, walls, and plumbing. I used Jake, J&J Electric, for the first time. He was so congenial and willing to commit to the things I had dreamed of for my new cabinets. Lighting, electric switches, receptacles all had to be moved. And I wanted one more thing. He figured out to make it work with simple reconfiguration, no tear out of walls. I wanted a ""plug"" INSIDE the cabinet for my hair dryer so I didn't have to see or wind up the cords each time used. He ran the line early on and once the cabinets were installed he figured out where the receptacle was to be placed. And it was not easy to get to the back wall under the sink, around the plumbing, near the floor and behind the large drawers. I am so pleased with his work. I recommend Jake to all my clients.

I am super glad I went against any of the negative reviews below.
We were looking to get some pricing for installing recessed lighting, as well as understand the process. We spoke with Jake & he was extremely helpful & knowledgeable, answering any and all questions we had.
Shortly after talking with him, we booked everything & we could not be any happier with the entire process & outcome. We finally have lights in the living room! Yay!
We highly recommend them, not only did we receive great service, but the work that was done looks outstanding.
