I had some work done by J & J Electric a few weeks ago. My daughter recommended them. The guy that came was super helpful and finished the work in no time! They got my outlets working.

I have called J&J two times for two different needs in the last month and they have been responsive and helpful. I will continue to call and use them!

I am super glad I went against any of the negative reviews below.
We were looking to get some pricing for installing recessed lighting, as well as understand the process. We spoke with Jake & he was extremely helpful & knowledgeable, answering any and all questions we had.
Shortly after talking with him, we booked everything & we could not be any happier with the entire process & outcome. We finally have lights in the living room! Yay!
We highly recommend them, not only did we receive great service, but the work that was done looks outstanding.

Jake and his crew have done all of the electrical work for my total home rebuild. They have been working on our project for nearly 8 months and they are a pleasure to work with. All of Jake's guys are so nice. We have had no issues with their work. Highly recommend!

We called Jake to come update our electric panel due to us frequently blowing fuses and we couldn't be more happy with the service. He responded quickly and set up a time to come out and update the panel. He was quick and me and the wife were happy with the reasonable price compared to what we had been quoted from other guys.

unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews. Jake is not reliable. We were doing a bathroom remodel and he gave us an estimate. When it was time to do the job, the estimate changed. We went ahead anyway because the work was in progress and we needed it done. He sent 2 workers, a younger one, who was nice and respectful, and an older one, who was rude and disrespectful. He messed up another circuit and would not fix it. We had to call on Jake to come fix it himself. They left a mess all over the place. They charged for hours they were not here. We paid Jake anyway, with the promise he would come back to finish the rest of the job when it was time. Well, the time came and went, and Jake never showed up again. I emailed him several times, but no more answers.
Find somebody more reliable for your electrical needs.

at the last moment they said No.. very disappointing
slow to return phone calls or text
Past work was satisfactory
But often had to keep on leaving g messages to finally get a response and then a delay.
Conclusion totally let me done. Promised more then once he would do out of area job. In the end when I asked I hit the usual too busy.

I asked for estimate, confirmed 2 days before, and he didn't show saying he would the next day. He didn't then either. Flaky.

Long story short. I had an emergency electrical problem. I called Jake. He had a guy Joe in my area on a current job. With in 2 hours Joe was at my door solving the problem and fixing the broken wires. He didn't charge me some outrages fee for having to come out right away . I am very grateful to Jake and his crew. They do a great job. They do it the right way and at a reasonable price. I will use J&J Electric every time. I too would recommend J&J Electric. Easy to deal with and honest.

This is an update to my initial review of J&J Electric. The company finally responded and made an appointment after the many attempts to contact them. Jake came out and fixed all of the problems that should have been fixed initially when the system was first installed. Everything seems to be working well. Company stated that they have been very busy and that is why they couldn't return our many attempts to contact them. All they had to do was let us know this and make an appointment a few weeks down the road. I did upgrade the stars from 1 to 2 because the system now works. But, as far as customer service, I still wouldn't recommend.
