My family called on Jay to come out and bid on doing the electrical work for a home we were remodeling including but not limited to replacing the electrical panel, adding GFCI outlets to 3 bathrooms and the kitchen, replacing all of the light fixtures, switches and receptacles throughout the house, etc. Based on other bids, it's about a $15K job so most business owners wouldn't brush off the opportunity. Jay did.

At the initial walk through which took less than 25 minutes, Jay didn't write down any notes. Furthermore, literally the moment we finished discussing the last of the punch list, Jay said ""I need to get going because I'm already late for another appointment."" Jay was told on the initial call about the extent of the job so I'm not sure how he felt that spending 25 minutes at a home was running over time. Anyhow, we never heard from Jay again. I contacted him with a copy of the property inspection report he had requested from the sale but he never acknowledged it. We also followed up again inquiring about the status of the quote and never received a reply. Even if his quote came in 25% cheaper than the other electrician we hired, the savings wouldn't be worth the risk of hiring a company that has no customer service.

Jay and James were fantastic today. Always positive and genuinely interested in what would make me happy. They went the extra mile by integrating my cable/coax job with their work at no extra cost. Jay also offered to pick up things *I needed when he went to the hardware store. He used text to communicate, which made things easy. 5 stars all the way. . Thanks guys!

Fantastic service...called Jay at 3 pm for an absolute emergency at home and he was able to squeeze me in to come in the evening. Was incredible in taking care of my circuit breaker issue and recommend what to do in the future.

Will be my go to electrician in the future and will recommend to as many people as I can.

I was very impressed with Jay! !My husband and I were rudely awaken by our fire alarm one Tuesday morning and there was smoke and what smelled like electrical burning, but we couldn't find a fire source. I contacted Jay and 3 other electricians through Yelp quotes and he was the first to get back to me. He came to my home that day, and fixed an electrical issue that had stumped other ""experts."" He also diagnosed the origin of the fire alarm--not the lingering electrical issue I had suspected but it was actually our furnace. He then advised me to contact an HVAC specialist. And he was right! Thank you, Jay!

Jay is the best electrician anyone can have. I first used Jay two years ago when my preschool had a problem with classroom lights. It happened late in the day. By the time I found Jay (after trying two other electricians who failed at diagnosing the problem,) it was already 8 p.m. Jay stayed until midnight to pinpoint the problem. He came back bright and early while working with our preschool schedule...when he can turn off the electricity for the whole school, when he cannot.

Since then, Jay has been my go-to electrician. He has taken care of the preschool and my home. He is always on time, courteous, trust worthy, professional and reasonably priced.

By the way, for the reviews below that said Jay missed appointments, he had a medical emergency.

It is not the first time, and certainly not the last time when we are asking Jay to do some project for us. This time it was recess lighting installation in our two story townhouse. Everything is great about his work and his approach to customers. He is top professional (efficiency, knowledge and flexibility) and gentleman in one!

They didn't show up. Didn't answer the phone when we called to ask where they were and still today, a week later haven't responded to our voicemail message asking what happened.

I wish one could give separate ratings to work quality vs communication. It's possible the work is great but I can't find out if they don't show up.

Called for estimate to replace meter socket. He came on time. Never called back. No estimate. I left 3 messages and 2 emails over the following week. It's like he disappeared from the earth. Maybe he got sick or something. Zero response! Not good business practice.

Worked with J second time to replace breakers in sub-panel. J was prompt as always and gave a fair estimate. Was patient to get through city inspection. I work with lot of contractor and not everyone is through and professional. J is both thorough in his work and very professional. Also added advantage is J does weekend calls for those unfortunate emergency.

Jay came by within 2 hours on a Sunday when we blew something in our light switches upon new move in. He spent about 2 hours fixing and rewiring a few of our problem areas, recommended some changes to us that made sense (without pressuring any sales) and was super nice and helpful and explained everything he was doing. Jay's going to be our go-to electrician!
