Ive used this company several times to install chandeliers and ceiling fans. They are very professional and finish the job in a timely manner. Only thing I would suggest is that they invest in shoe covers for the homes that don't allow shoes on the inside. Elio and his crew are awesome!

A very unreliable company I received a quote for them and never heard back from them. I called ahead of the day that I needed them to come out after I receive my quote. I called back to schedule the appointment and they never picked up the phone, I called multiple times. Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time please go with somebody else besides this company. I only needed flood lights connected and wire was already ran. I guess that job is too hectic for them to handle.

The gentleman provided three options for executing the work that was required. I chose the option that worked for my desired outcome. Price was reasonable and service was good.

Excellent communication! I had called the electrician that did the original work when my house was built THREE TIMES and never got a call back.
Posted my project on Yelp and Elio responded within an hour. They were flexible with the timing, called beforehand with an ETA and showed up on time.
The pricing offered was fair and they got the work done quickly and efficiently.
I will absolutely hire Jay Electric again for my next electrical needs.

They arrived quickly and were very efficient and got the job done. However, I thought they were overpriced. I told him we had three outdoor outlets that were not working on the front of the house. Before even finding out the problem, he said it would be $220. As it turned out, they quickly identified a faulty GFCI outlet inside our garage that controlled the outdoor outlets, and they replaced the faulty one. It took all of 15 minutes. It shouldn't have been more than $150 at most.

I put in for some estimates from electricians and Jay Electric was one of the first to respond and could get over the SAME DAY, which was a huge bonus.

The quote given was a touch higher than we wanted but we wanted the project done ASAP.

Main negative was that the holes for the recessed lights were cut with a drywall hand saw, leaving a jagged edge that could be seen outside of the light's rim. When I mentioned this, I was told that the ""paint had chipped"" and it could be fixed when the ceiling was painted. I am not an idiot and in fact, I had to patch the jagged area before painting. I wish they just used a hole saw with a drill for a nice clean circle. Unfortunately I had forgotten that we in fact OWNED one that we would have let him use.

All in all, we love the lights but wish the holes were cut better.

Fast efficient and fixed all issues
Told of things that would be good to do in the future. Gave an estimate. No pressure

I've seen similar experiences to mine in these reviews. This company is quick to schedule a ""free"" estimate then provide poor to no service. This company came out to assess electrical issues with an appliance, but I was still charged $125. So what was free? 2nd red flag - after assessing the issue, they said a part was needed and they didn't have it. They were ready to leave and didn't offer to purchase the part for the repair and/or offer follow up services? They were just willing to take the money and go after they ""assessed"" what was wrong. I purchased the part. I attempted contact via Yelp, phone call and sent text messages to the many numbers associated with this company (from the numbers they contacted me from the one day they came out) to let them know the part arrived. After several days, someone text me back and they had no recollection of the job. Asked me for my address, pictures of the job in question, etc. So another red flag - who are you and who was in my home a week ago? I went against my gut, rearranged my work schedule for them to come complete the job and no one showed last week. No follow up call or anything. So far I'm out $125 for a ""free estimate"", $200 for a part, lost two weeks working with these people when I could have gone somewhere else. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISORGANIZED. NO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
