Called James because I needed an electrician in a hurry (I actually called five). He came right out in spite of being very busy. James called to say he was running late for the bid, very professional. He explained everything that needed to be done in terms I could understand. The bid was fair and competitive, so I hired him to do the job. He told me he could start the next day and he did. After starting the job, he ran into a few problems that required a little bit of extra work and materials for his team. James notified me right away, but still honored his original bid price. The work was completed in the time we agreed upon and was done well. I would hire James at any time in the future because he was competitively priced, but most importantly, he does good work and keeps his word.

Wow. Never have I experienced such fantastic service as I have with James Rose Electric. I dared to try wiring a smart 3-way dimmer switch by myself only to realize after I unplugged everything that I was out of my league. I called James Rose and instead of making a house call, James worked with me over the phone for over 45 minutes (yes I made things more difficult and due to the wiring of my older house, the process was quite in-depth). James was patient and wonderfully knowledgeable, simultaneously helping me correct the wiring as well as teaching me terminology and technique. He talked me through every step, from diagnostic, to testing and finally the correct wiring until we had success. What would have been hundreds of dollars and 10 minutes of work from a different electrician instead was a great learning experience from James. Help like this is unheard of no matter who you are. I will be using James for any problems in the future. Please call James Rose for all your electrical needs, and don't try to do complicated jobs yourself!

James' team seamless installation of two minka ceiling fans and wired a box for a wall mounted control switch. Routed the wiring without an attic and limited crawl space, they didn't need to make extra cuts in the walls and ceiling. They ran into extra challenges with my 50's home and the DC motor fan, but he was extra patient in fixing old wiring. Very challenging project for the great price, but they pulled it off and extremely transparent and honest. It's over 80 degrees F, but these fans are quiet and the room feels like 70. I found the right team for my home!

We had an emergency problem on May 4 at 6:30 in the evening. Call James Rose Electric the owner James picked up the phone walked me through the issue on my electrical panel diagnosed it over the phone and immediately came out the next day to repair it efficiently within an hour I have electricity again. Our AC broke down shortly before a big heat wave. I called Jim in the afternoon; he warned me that his appointment calendar was packed, but asked what our issue was. In 10-15 minutes on the phone, he diagnosed a short in the thermostat and recommended we get a new one. We just installed the new thermostat, and AC is working great again - looks like Jim saved us a pricey and unnecessary house call! Will definitely be calling back for any future electrical needs.

I would not suggest anybody else. I used James on two different occasions after hours. Both times over the holidays. This gentlemen is ready to go to work as soon as he arrives. Very professional, knowledgable, and skilled at his craft. Would refer to friends or family. Hire him!
