I was in need of a 14-50 outlet for my electric vehicle and I appreciated James taking the time to do top notch quality work and go the extra mile to complete the job to my specifications. He and his partner worked all day to complete the job and then put the final touches on it the following day. I called up the number from this Yelp ad and got James himself on the first try. I explained my electrical woes that befell me earlier in the day and James was very responsive and sent one of his employees Diego to my house. He got there about an hour later, which was super fast! I gave Diego a little challenge with my predicament (sudden loss of power to my electrical plugin outlets in all my bedrooms) and after some diagnosing we finally found the root cause which was a faulty receptacle that shorted out the entire loop. Diego got everything back to where it needed to be.

Had several conversations, and he quoted and explained the work. Unfortunately, I could never get him to return my phone calls after we decided to go ahead with the job. He kept putting me off and failing to return calls. I finally had to go to somebody else after two frustrating weeks.

I cannot recommend this service, as no service ever got performed.

I called 3 times. He said he would come by. No Show. Never called me back.
I run a small business and if I treated my clients like this I would have no business.

A great electrician does not make a great business partner. Look elsewhere.

Called him for one of my tenants select rica need. Electrician promised to call my tenant next day to set up an appointment. Never did. I called him back in couple of days and apologetically promised to call my tenant next day. Again never made the call to my tenant. Totally unreliable electrician.

I called a place prior to calling James, it was a call center. I couldn't get any direct answers. So grateful I found James, very professional and respectful. He is extremely knowledgeable of his business and he took care of my electrical problem. Save time and wonders and call James first.

Scheduled appointment for installing a TV for my disabled son. Told him he was disabled so scheduling would need to be firm and on time as he has therapy etc...

Waited a week and emailed day before appointment. No response. Called Voice mail full. Texted...no response.

This company gave the highest estimate out of everyone, so I thought, must be top notch. ehhhhh no.

Unfortunately will never call or can I recommend.

James Rose installed Led can lights in our very high ceilings in both our living room and dining room . He did a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances due to the construction of our ceiling. I asked him if he was an engineer because he was so exacting and technical in the placement of our lights . He used laser beams on the ceiling to get all the dimensions exact . We had 6 can lights installed the living room and 4 in the dining room . They took longer to install than expected because of the ceiling construction but James handled it beautifully.

TLDR: James and Diego were really fun and easy to work with and they did an amazing job adding a new circuit for my appliance. Diego even found a live wire in my attic that he boxed up for us (THANK YOU). I'd use them again in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to anyone who needs an electrician.

Full Review:
I recently installed a new microwave oven above my range to replace a decades old double oven that came with the house. We needed to add an outlet in the cupboard to plug it in so I was told to contact an electrician. I contacted several who were either flaky on responding or wanted to come over to give an estimate. In COVID times all I wanted was a best guess but no one would give me that.

Then I found James Rose and I'm so glad I did. He responded quickly over Yelp messaging and was the ONLY electrician to let me know that we'd need to add the microwave on its own circuit to ensure good use and adherence to local codes. Could I have gotten away with a cheaper option? Yeah. But I wanted to do it right and James was the first person to tell me what that would entail.

James and Diego came over and I was immediately comfortable with them. They were easy to talk to, explained everything they were going to do, covered up my floors and kitchen to keep it clean, and overall did a great job. While Diego was in the attic he discovered a live wire that hadn't been contained correctly (just plastic capped not placed in a box and covered) so he did that for me. He also found some incorrect wiring on my kitchen light and corrected that.

At the end of the day James walked me though the changes and told me that they'd wired it so we could add another circuit if we needed in the future without the hassle of climbing through the attic and cutting into the house again - which I appreciated. James showed me on the microwave how to calculate the output and why a dedicated circuit was needed which was cool to know.

Overall great service and I'd recommend them to anyone.
