Jacobs Ladder kept me informed as to when they would arrive, and only took an hour or so to address the issues listed in my home inspection report. In several cases, that was just confirming that the difference between current practice and practice when the house was built was not a seafety concern, but they did replace several outlets. I will certainly call upon them when I am ready to replace some light fixtures.

He replied within minutes to give me an estimate, fit me into the schedule the next day, showed up exactly on time, did excellent work, cleaned up afterward, was friendly and knowledgeable, and charged a reasonable rate. I've had three other electricians out to check out my house, and Jacob was by far the best. I plan to have him back for several other major projects. Jacob and his associate did a fantastic job! Before hiring them I contacted other electricians as well, but since the very beginning Jacob seemed to be above competition because of his responsiveness, knowledge and competitive rates. He showed up on time, the project was completed fairly quickly, and most importantly it was done right! I will definitely hire him again, if I were to require an electrician.

Jacob came out and fitted an EV charger for me and did a fantastic job at a great price. That alone was worth 5 stars, but here's why I'd give him 6 stars if I could: I also had a bunch of other jobs that came up in the inspection report on our new home that I asked for a quote on. Jacob walked me through all of the stuff and explained what we did and didn't need to do right at that moment, whereas everyone else I got a quote from just gave me a quote. He is trustworthy, hardworking and will be getting all of my business from now on.

WOW these guys are great, they answered all of my many many questions. I had some switches changed out for dimmers and a few electrical concerns assessed. We have another appointment scheduled for reassessed lighting installation in the kitchen. These guys were very professional and thoughtful. I will be using them again in the future.

I had what I thought would be a small job, sent it out via Yelp projects and Jacob responded quickly. I called him and he said he'd be over in 30 minutes and he quoted me a flat fee + materials. He and his worker Neal arrived in 25 minutes and quickly identified my problem. Unfortunately, it was not as simple as we'd initially thought. However, Jacob stuck to his previously bid flat fee even though he was doing more work. He and Neal were very professional and took care of the work. I was so pleased that I paid them a bonus over and above the quoted work.

I would give Jacob's Ladder more stars if I could and highly recommend them. I know that he has my business the next time I need any electrical work.
