I was pleased with the service. I had ghem come out to take a look at two outlets that were not working in the garage. As well as fix a few other outlets in the house. They needed to charge around $400 to run a test to see what was wrong with the outlets in the garage. And we're unable to identify the problem nor fix it. But they were able to fix a few other issues in the house. The electrician was friendly and approachable. But was surprised to find that he did not wear gloves almost the entire time. And I am almost positive he did shock himself at one point while working on an outlet. But again they got most of the work done. And were very friendly and were able to come out the next day.

Mike and Pablo did an excellent job at installing recessed lights and wiring a 240v outlet for an EV charger in my home. My husband and I recently bought a house that was in desperate need of a refresh, especially for lighting.

They came out for a walkthrough estimate on 6/8/22 and started working the very next day. They installed recessed, dimmable lighting throughout the entire house, was extremely responsive when it came to requested communication of placement, did a great job at cleaning up, and they even did rough patches to the walls/ceilings.

In total it took about 2.5 business days to complete the job and gave extremely fair pricing, where other companies were trying to charge an arm and a leg. I would definitely recommend Innovative Solar and will be using their services in the near future.

I had a breaker for a garage circuit that had started repeatedly tripping, and then started buzzing. I had checked the terminal screws for looseness myself and had tried to get the breaker out to change it, but couldn't get it out. I was afraid the breaker had welded to the bus and that I was looking at replacing the panel.

I yelp-requested a bunch of electricians, and all seemed pretty sure they could get it out, and all wanted at least a $175 fee to come out, with varying hourly rates after that + materials. Except for Innovative Solar, and one other company that also does free estimates but was booked until Monday.

Mike and Pedro arrived near the end of the agreed-upon time window, I explained the situation to them, and we agreed on $100 for them to replace the breaker, since I was providing the new one and there would be no warranty. It would have been over $200 if they had supplied the breaker, so most likely pretty comparable to the other guys.

Mike and Pedro were a joy to interact with. I watched as they EASILY removed the breaker (I had been trying to hinge it the opposite direction), and with GREAT EFFORT loosened the termination screws -- those things were in solid. They showed me the char on the breaker and the bus bar contacts where there had been arcing, filed the bus bar contact smooth, freshened up the wires, and put everything back together. We talked about options if I get tripping again, and Mike thinks we could get a replacement bus bar in San Diego. Other options would include replacing the panel (which in O'side means trenching) or adding a subpanel.

I've got the fridge and garage door opener plugged in and the air conditioner on again. Hoping this has done the truck.

This review is for Pedro. If you can, request Pedro for your electrical jobs! He was friendly, communicative and made sure he checked in with us as he completed stages (to be sure we were satisfied, lights were aligned where we wanted etc). He had a complex job to run a new line from the front to the back with no attic + install two hanging chandeliers. He finished on time with a smile, cleaned up and the work looks great.
