Company Overview

Founded in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing originated as the testing sector of Industrial Electric Construction Company in the state of Florida. James T. Hill, who was the Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later acquired Industrial and transformed it into an independent testing entity.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. IET functions as an impartial test authority, thanks to its full membership in NETA, remaining independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the evaluated equipment or systems.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Industrial's headquarters serves the northern, central, and western parts of Florida and southern Georgia. Since 1994, we have operated a branch office in Hallandale to support the southern region of the state. With a professional workforce, we ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and expert manner. We provide 24/7 emergency services to all clients, every day of the year.

Our goal at Industrial Electric Testing is to ensure the reliability of electrical power distribution systems through extensive testing, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair for all industrial, commercial, and utility clients. This commitment ensures the integrity of electrical system apparatus in terms of safety and reliability. IET has been engaged in this industry for over thirty years. Industrial Electric Testing employs only test equipment that is in excellent mechanical and electrical condition. Every test instrument is maintained and calibrated to ensure rated accuracy, with precision directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET documents any defective system, material, or workmanship identified during acceptance or maintenance tests, keeps a written record of all tests, and compiles and certifies a final technical test report.
