Company Overview

Founded in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing originated as the testing sector of Industrial Electric Construction Company in the state of Florida. James T. Hill, who was the Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later acquired Industrial and transformed it into an independent testing entity.

IET proudly holds full membership in the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization comprised of independent electrical testing companies across North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. Since 1994, our Hallandale branch office has been dedicated to servicing the southern section of the state. Our skilled and professional workforce guarantees the timely and expert completion of every project. We offer emergency services to all clients 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our efforts are focused on maintaining the integrity of electrical system apparatus to guarantee safety and reliability. IET has been involved in this sector for over thirty years. At Industrial Electric Testing, we use only test equipment that is in top mechanical and electrical condition. All test instruments are regularly calibrated and maintained to meet rated accuracy, with precision traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET documents any defective system, material, or workmanship identified during acceptance or maintenance tests, keeps a written record of all tests, and compiles and certifies a final technical test report.
