Company Overview

Founded in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing originated as the testing sector of Industrial Electric Construction Company in the state of Florida. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Industrial's headquarters serves the northern, central, and western parts of Florida and southern Georgia. Since 1994, our Hallandale branch office has been dedicated to servicing the southern section of the state. With a professional workforce, we ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and expert manner. We offer emergency services to all clients 24/7, 365 days a year.

The mission of Industrial Electric Testing is to support electrical power distribution systems through comprehensive testing, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair for industrial, commercial, and utility clients. Our efforts are focused on maintaining the integrity of electrical system apparatus to guarantee safety and reliability. IET has been engaged in this industry for over thirty years. Industrial Electric Testing employs only test equipment that is in excellent mechanical and electrical condition. All testing instruments are kept calibrated and maintained within their rated accuracy, with precision traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET reports any defects in systems, materials, or workmanship found during acceptance or maintenance tests, maintains written records of all tests, and assembles and certifies a comprehensive final technical test report.
