Company Overview

Incorporated in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing began as the testing division of Industrial Electric Construction Company in Florida. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

IET proudly holds full membership in the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization comprised of independent electrical testing companies across North America and Canada. As a full member of NETA, IET serves as an unbiased testing authority, independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the systems or equipment under evaluation.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. Since 1994, we have operated a branch office in Hallandale to support the southern region of the state. With a professional workforce, we ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and expert manner. We offer emergency services to all clients 24/7, 365 days a year.

The mission of Industrial Electric Testing is to support electrical power distribution systems through comprehensive testing, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair for industrial, commercial, and utility clients. This commitment ensures the integrity of electrical system apparatus in terms of safety and reliability. For more than three decades, IET has been active in this field. We utilize only test equipment that is well-maintained and in optimal mechanical and electrical condition. All test instruments are regularly calibrated and maintained to meet rated accuracy, with precision traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET reports any defects in systems, materials, or workmanship found during acceptance or maintenance tests, maintains written records of all tests, and assembles and certifies a comprehensive final technical test report.
