Company Overview

Founded in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing originated as the testing sector of Industrial Electric Construction Company in the state of Florida. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

IET proudly holds full membership in the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization comprised of independent electrical testing companies across North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

Industrial's main office is situated in Jacksonville, Florida, serving the northern, central, and western regions of Florida, along with southern Georgia. Since 1994, we have operated a branch office in Hallandale to support the southern region of the state. Our skilled and professional workforce guarantees the timely and expert completion of every project. We provide 24/7 emergency services to all clients, every day of the year.

The mission of Industrial Electric Testing is to support electrical power distribution systems through comprehensive testing, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair for industrial, commercial, and utility clients. We do this to uphold the integrity of electrical system apparatus concerning safety and reliability. IET has been engaged in this industry for over thirty years. Industrial Electric Testing employs only test equipment that is in excellent mechanical and electrical condition. All testing instruments are kept calibrated and maintained within their rated accuracy, with precision traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET documents any defective system, material, or workmanship identified during acceptance or maintenance tests, keeps a written record of all tests, and compiles and certifies a final technical test report.
