My insurance sent me to this place for repair of my HVAC system. They eventually fixed it over about almost a month of waiting in 106 degrees temperature. Took 2 tries but not without a lot of hassle and headache. The reason is because after the first visit, the receptionist that worked the schedule is a complete idiot and booked me for a different day. The interesting thing was I was told that Thursday and Friday's were reserved for ""go-backs"" so no idea why I was offered 4 days later. Even after booking the new date, the schedule was still screwed up because it wasn't the right time. The office ended up rebooking me for the correct date but 6 hours off from the original appointment time! Now how do you mess up an appointment when I received a confirmation text message stating the correct time and date the first time? The computer don't make mistakes, so all I can think of is you guys bumped me to a less convenient time perhaps for more desirable client. We all got jobs and need to take time off to be home so making these mistakes or not is not acceptable when it happens TWICE. To add fuel to the fire, the tech refuses to come at the set time and will personally call you to schedule for an earlier time because in the afternoon, it's too hot, and he refuses to go up in the attic. You're telling me that you got into this profession so you can pick and choose when and where you want to crawl into? Maybe if you own your own business but apparently you don't. It's like going to the doctor and the doctor refuses to examine you before you even walk through the front door. Just ridiculous. After multiple phone calls to the office, the tech came came out but was rude and very unprofessional. Did not wear shoes covers when entering your home and even bitched about them when we provided him with them. All I hear is cuss words flying left and right. The cussing continued as he was removing equipment from my attic damaging my ceiling support beams and molding that holds the drywall cover in place. The same night after the fix, I hear a loud BANG!! I went up there the next day to check out what's going on and the cover fell off!! Can't even put things back the way it was found property. Further examination showed the retaining clip for the cover was severely bent out of shape. I believe the tech just tried to rush the job at the end. I have had it with this company and do not recommend them to anyone. What shotty workmanship and attitude. I have heard horror stories of services requests from contractors provided by your insurance company but I think it is just this company since I never had any issues with a prior company we used prior through the same insurance.

I had a very positive experience with this company. I am a tenant and the landlord has all the major appliances under warranty. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10. He called me at 8 and said he was going to arrive by 8:30, which he did. The issue was diagnosed and fixed within 45 minutes.

Indoor Comfort Services contracts out with my Home Warranty Co. Indoor Comfort Services sent Joel to fix my HVAC system. He was early which was a blessing since the outside temperature has been in the 100s. He was calm, professional and quickly fixed the wiring that the other company wired incorrectly. Indoor Comfort Services has very knowledgeable service professionals and I will request them next time.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! If your home warranty company sends you to these guys, ask for another contractor. Of they wont give you another one, you're better off paying out of pocket to someone else. These guys will lie to you, charge you for work you dont need, and negotiate with the insurance company so you pay more than them. They will say you're getting a new a/c, and never do. They will lie to the customer to keep their contact with the home warranty company. Also, the home warranty company has an agreement with them to make sure the minimum is covered at maximum expense, effort, and discomfort of the customer. And dont bother complaining to anyone, they will any flat out deny everything and act like it's your fault. And they will also have the technician call you back to completely lie, change his story, be completely rude and harassing like a 90's bill collector, and not resolve anything. If you're paying cash and not going through home warranty I'm sure their customer service might be good, but I doubt it.

We were referred to Indoor Comfort by our home warranty company when our A/C went out. Indoor Comfort was actually the 3rd contractor that was referred to us as the home warranty company wanted a second opinion once full replacement of our heat pump was recommended.

Everyone at Indoor Comfort was great to work with. Working with our home warranty company was a nightmare of phone calls and forms and dogged persistence by the office staff at Indoor Comfort. Both Victoria and Leanne spent hours working with the home warranty company to receive approvals and coordinate logistics for ordering equipment and parts.

Due to misinformation from the home warranty company our installation date had to change requiring Indoor Comfort to move another
installation. At all times I felt the staff at Indoor Comfort really cared about us suffering in the heat as the home warranty company dragged out the process to a little over 5 weeks.

Robert and Delores were very professional and took great care to explain things to me and were so careful in our garden and home. They went beyond what was expected when in the middle of the install the home warranty company messed up in the ordering of the air handler. Robert and Delores took it upon themselves to locate an air handler locally and I was able to get the home warranty company to approve on the spot. Thanks to their great customer focus we were not without air for another week. I shudder to think of what we might have gone through with a company that was less focused on helping us get cool. I would recommend Indoor Comfort Services highly. Frank has a great team.

Used them for home warranty repairs. Workmen were ok. Office does not answer phone nor return calls. If they weren't assigned to me I wouldn't use them...

It breaks down 2 times a year and when we call them they say they will check and call us back but never do ! We will be reporting them to the better business Bureau ! They are a Family Based Business! Now I consider them as Friends!!!! They have serviced our Air Conditioning Unit & Heater for a year now! Dad is elderly & bed bound. The house hit 20 years old, here in Sun City. So of course, we are having to replace everything this year... Then the air unit finally died. Frank's caring follow-up & fixs, along with his crew & office staff are so respectful & care for the elderly community, with out the crazy up-sells- Like Butler (whom many companies take advantage of the older folks). We will be customers for life! They also do plumbing, so we needed a new kitchen sink faucet, Dolores installed, sweet heart-As she also cared for her elder father. They are very respectful. The GFI switch that is for our garage fridge, is is need of replacement, kept blowing the circuit breaker with this heat & fans... Did I mention, they are electricians too!!!! One-Stop-Shop!!!! Seems like I have know them forever. Thank You All! RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have the option, I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere for HVAC service, both for your own health as well as for your time and sanity. This company was contracted by our property owner's home warranty company to service our aging unit. They came out twice, approximately two months apart, and stated that while the unit was inefficient due to its age, it was ""technically functional"" and that they could not recommend replacement.
Unbeknownst to them, our landlord had another company come out and look at the unit in between their visits. That company looked at the unit for less than five minutes and stated that our unit was beyond repair and was leaking Freon, which, under section 608 of the Clean Air Act, either needs to be fixed within 30 days or a corrective action plan leading to replacement or retirement needs to be established. Service operators also cannot knowingly release refrigerant into the air beyond an established rate. However, because they were not contracted by the home warranty company, Indoor Comfort needed to be called out again to take another look at the unit and submit a report to the home warranty company.
When IC came out the second time, they apparently failed to find the leak and indicated in their report that there was nothing wrong with the unit. However, they failed to submit that report to the home warranty company, causing a ten day delay in our ability to get the unit serviced. In the meantime, our unit has now gone completely out during a stretch of 100+ degree weather and is completely non-functional.
Earlier today I called the receptionist and she let me know that they were waiting on the home warranty company to recommend next steps. After calling the home warranty company, they let me know that they were actually waiting on IC to submit their report because they never did. The receptionist neglected to tell me that important detail when I called earlier in the morning. When I complained about that fact and their failure to find the leak that the other company did, she couldn't give me an explanation as to why IC could not find the leak despite being out twice. She also argued with me regarding the aforementioned EPA issue.
IC's failure to do a thorough evaluation of our unit (twice) and follow up with the paperwork that was required of them has cost us several days of vacation time, hundreds of dollars in PG&E bills to run our ""inefficient"" system, and innumerable days of stress. We had to move our pets several times because of the heat and now that the unit is completely out, we will have to stay with family until the unit is fixed by another company. Save yourself the stress and find a different company to service your HVAC system.
