We needed an electrician to solve a problem with the electricity in several locations of the house. Some of the receptacles and switches would read on the voltage tester at 120 volts. However, at times some of the switches would have very little power unable for the microwave to fully heat food. Also, the lights in several rooms would dim out or get brighter. Fearing that a short circuit may be the culprit, we contacted Independent Electric. Carol was so helpful and caring about our concerns that she made certain we were able to contact Mark who was working at other job locations. After I explained the problems to Mark, he figured out that it may be the power line going into the house. He suggested to call the Electric Company first to check the line. Mark was correct as there was a broken neutral wire from the power lines.

The service at Independent Electric was excellent with caring and knowledgeable people.

After being left high and dry by my contractor regarding the electrical part of commercial construction of an office within a suite of offices, Mario and his terrific crew (Mark and Jacob) came in to rescue the awful situation and generously went above and beyond to make the project go forward as quickly and smoothly as possible. Being that I am a solo business owner, they might have bid the job out of my reach, but they did a lot of work, including dealing with City or Pasadena permits, for an affordable amount. They did whatever they could to squeeze me in between their big jobs, did a tidy and safe rewiring job, left a job site to meet my inspector, and advised patiently on how to remedy two separate unsafe existing wiring situations. They are heroes and I highly recommend to friends and family.

I had I around to get estimates and this company took the time to come and to provide the estimate. After receiving prices from other companies without seeing my home, I hired independent electric to complete a panel upgrade after having some electrical problems. They also installed under cabinet lights in my kitchen. Communication was clear from the beginning. Workers arrived on time and cleaned up when the job was done. Had a small job of replacing our kitchen ceiling light switch. The quoting process thru Yelp took a few days but once repair work was ordered, Mark very efficiently made the appointment and completed the repair timely. Mark is friendly and professional, and not only replaced the switch but upgraded it too. I would call on his services again.

This is a local company that is independently owned and is incredibly responsive. I had an outside lighting issue and I had tried for a few days to climb up and fix it. I knew the issue and was doing the right things but it wasn't working. I was also stumped by my outside timer even though I thought I had done the right thing it didn't seem to be picking up the new time and setting. For security I needed this fixed and I requested a quote. I had a quick response from the owner and after asking some questions offered to send someone the same day at the end of the day! Needless to say this was fixed easily but so nicely and professionally. I would recommend this company to anyone with a large or small electrical issue. I will be recommending them and calling them for my next issue, which will hopefully be more substantial and lucrative for them.
