Humphrey & Associates operates in Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, and Yantis, covering East Texas. We provide services such as Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering/Design, Preventative/Proactive Maintenance, Lighting Management, and Personnel/Safety Management. Our industry expertise includes commercial, industrial, manufacturing, institutional, healthcare, and residential markets. We have the capability to design, construct, and maintain Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems in every sector.

We are a construction contracting company focused on the northeast area of Texas. Our company launched in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1977, starting as an Electrical Contractor for the Dallas/Ft. Worth construction sector. From the start, we have experienced consistent and measured growth. Our collaborative efforts and engagement in the construction community have allowed us to grow and diversify.

In April 1981, fifty percent of the common stock, excluding Steve Humphrey's shares, was acquired by the Humphrey & Associates Inc. Stock Ownership Plan and Trust. The Associates, our employees, hold 50 percent of the company's stock. After completing one year of service, employees start earning shares, becoming part-owners of Humphrey & Associates. In 1981, we gifted half the stock to our employees through an employee stock ownership plan, truly making them the ""associates"" in the corporation.

Initially, H&A focused solely on electrical contracting and design projects in the Metroplex; we opened a branch office in Mt. Pleasant in 1986. In 1995, we introduced a mechanical division, offering a full MEP team package; subsequently, we established a main office in Fort Worth and another branch in Denton in the late '90s. With each new service, our goal is to enhance our customer experience.

While H&A is family-owned, we are a major player in the market. Our management team considers the 310 ""associates"" to be our most valuable resource. The board and managing executive committee, including seven vice presidents and branch managers, have an average tenure of 25 years, which is uncommon in the construction industry. Our other team members have an average employment duration of 8.5 years.
