Humphrey & Associates operates in Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, and Yantis, covering East Texas. Our service offerings encompass Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering/Design, Preventative/Proactive Maintenance, Lighting Management, and Personnel/Safety Management. Our expertise spans commercial, industrial, manufacturing, institutional, healthcare, and residential sectors. Our team excels in designing, building, and maintaining Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems for all industry sectors.

Humphrey & Associates operates as a construction contractor mainly in northeast Texas. We began our journey in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1977, as an Electrical Contractor catering to the Dallas/Ft. Worth construction market. From the start, we have experienced consistent and measured growth. Through teamwork and involvement in the construction sector, we have been able to expand and diversify our services.

In April 1981, fifty percent of the common stock, excluding Steve Humphrey's shares, was acquired by the Humphrey & Associates Inc. Stock Ownership Plan and Trust. Fifty percent of our stock is owned by our employees, known as Associates. After completing one year of service, employees start earning shares, becoming part-owners of Humphrey & Associates. In 1981, we distributed half the stock to employees via an employee stock ownership plan, genuinely making them ""associates"" in the company.

At first, H&A specialized in electrical contracting and design in the Metroplex; we opened a branch in Mt. Pleasant in 1986. In 1995, we introduced a mechanical division, offering a full MEP team package; subsequently, we established a main office in Fort Worth and another branch in Denton in the late '90s. With each new service, our goal is to enhance our customer experience.

H&A is a family-run business, but we hold a strong position in the industry. The management team values the core group of 310 ""associates"" as our greatest asset. The board and managing executive committee, including seven vice presidents and branch managers, have an average tenure of 25 years, which is uncommon in the construction industry. The average tenure for our remaining employees is 8.5 years.
