And one more ""5 stars"" for John, who did a good - and seamless - job for our bathroom. There was a problem with the kick space heater (not of his doing) and John came back quickly to take care of it at no charge.

John is still my go-to guy for anything electric. He's helped me with my home projects, including a full electrical plan for last year's outdoor lighting in my yard. But John has also helped us with all of our electrical issues at several income properties.
John and Alice have always been prompt, thorough and fair. Our number one choice for any electrical issues.

I would highly recommend John.. I also found him on Yelp and was impressed by his reviews and his work. I had a complicated electrical installation. John was very prepared and very efficient. In addition, he was quite reasonably priced and easy to work with. It was also great to work with Alice who answers the phone and helps plan the schedule and asks all the right questions. I would have Hoffman Electric back in a second for any electrical work!!

John came out to figure out a solution to a complicated wiring dilemma. Many others came before him and were stymied as to the best way to remedy the problem. The fact that he systematically went about resolving it, was super efficient, professional and kind (he actually helped resolve another smallish electrical task while he was here) made his visit an absolute godsend. So happy to have found someone who knows what he is doing; I would have him back in a minute.

Recently just moved from east coast to San Rafael, bought a house in San Rafael, Few switch doesn't work, so I figure better check with the professional than me messing with it.

Call Hoffman electric, came on time and fix the issue within hours, the charge was reasonable too.

Wow. Last night while I was cooking dinner, my stove blew a fuse or something. Inside the cabinet underneath the stove some fixture thingy in the wall, spontaneously combusted. This morning I set off into the task of finding someone who can come check this out at some point today. I figure if I'm lucky I'll find some random person who can be here, maybe this afternoon and possibly fix it for hopefully not a lot of money. I called Hoffman Electric because John's been here before and we liked him. My first choice. Guess what! He answered the phone. I didn't have to leave an awkward message and wait for a call back at someone else's convenience. I gave him a quick description of what happened and what he said was music to my ears: ""I'll be there in 15 minutes."" WTF? Is this guy a superhero or something? and it turns out, yes he is. He really got here in 15 min. He spent about half an hour or less in my kitchen. He explained what was wrong in words I can understand and when I asked him how long it would take to fix he said ""It's already fixed."" Perfect. I can move on with my day. Thank you so much!

John's work is excellent!! He is very accommodating with his schedule. He really knows

his trade and meticulously executes his work in a time-effecient manner..His prices are

very fair- as his deep knowledge of his trade allows him to accurately and saftly prioritize

the work in the context of a budget..It's wonderful to know such a competant electrician!!!
