I called Hoffman Electric, and John was able to fit me in for an appointment the same day. He was on time, fixed a problem I had with a light switch very quickly and charged a reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

I found Hoffman Electric on Yelp and am glad I did. John did an excellent job. He was on time, completed the work on time, and his price was very reasonable. They installed a stairway light and an entry hall chandelier which was hanging from the second story. It was easy for them. I highly recommend Hoffman Electric.

John Is and incredible electrician who really knows his trade. He operates at a very high level of quality and efficiency; However, his prices only reflect his efficiency, as they are Extremely fair! John can immediately assess an electrical situation, with regard to its operation and safety. If he finds a problem, he fixes it quickly, without fuss, and prices it fairly. He knows how to do a job efficiently, with the highest regard for safety ! If you want an extremely competent, honest electrician, with very fair prices, look no further than John Hoffman and Hoffman Electric!

So, Mr. Hoffman was a no call and no show for our appointment, so I proceeded to call his wife (secretary). She apologized for the crazy day they had...no problem, whatever, life happens. So I reschedule for 8 am the next morning, which I'm assuming was his first appointment of the day. He showed up at 8:30. Not off to a great start here. The work he put in, in the hour we had scheduled, was thorough. He told us what else we needed, and that he would write up a quote for us, so that we can move forward and complete the work at another time. This never happened. No email or phone call. I called them to check in, to make sure they had my email, and again, no response.
The bottom line...UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I have hired several contractors but never been as impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, and responsiveness of Hoffman Electric. From start to finish everything was excellent. Hoffman Electric is now my GOTO contractor for anything electric or network related.

John is a true professional. I've dealt with a LOT of contractors and rarely do you find the THREE things that warrant five stars.....dependable, quality work, reasonable prices. Usually you are lucky to get one or two of these. I have friends always asking for a recommendation as I do Interior Design and he is my top pick. Call John, he's wonderful all around.

And one more ""5 stars"" for John, who did a good - and seamless - job for our bathroom. There was a problem with the kick space heater (not of his doing) and John came back quickly to take care of it at no charge.
