Chris (the owner) and Michael installed an EV charger in my garage, along with installing a couple of outlets around the house. Their quality of work was excellent. They even pointed out a mistake made by an electrician who had previously worked on the electric panel and corrected the error. We contacted Chris on somewhat short notice to connect electrical to some large cubicles that we were having installed. Chris was immediately responsive, and even moved around his schedule to accommodate for our fixed install date. The job was a long one and Chris and Michael hardwired our new cubicles by installing two new junction boxes and running lines to the breaker panel. They were professional and quick, and their work is excellent quality. Would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

I highly recommend Chris to anyone in need of electrical work. We needed a switch upgraded in a bedroom. It wasn't working and it was therefore too dark in that room. Hoerz confirmed the appointment immediately and arrived the next morning on time. They texted me their ETA the night before and in the morning. They repaired the problem quickly. Hoerz provides efficient, professional, honest, and courteous service. They know what they're doing and explained the steps they were taking to correct the issue. The cost was reasonable for sure. Highly recommend!

Chris helped me install a 240v outlet, two ceiling fans, and a coax port. Not only was he on time but very professional and conversational. Took time to help me understand what was going on in a way that was not talking down to someone who didn't understand. The price for services was very reasonable as well!

We found Chris to be very reliable and efficient in his responsiveness to our kitchen outlet problem. He gave us needed advice about upgrading to separate dedicated outlets to manage issues when using too many small appliances that were overloading the circuits. He also went above and beyond fixing an outlet cover in the tile backsplash that was not put on correctly by the previous tile setter. We appreciated his efforts and diligence in wanting to get the job done right! We found his pricing reasonable and will use him as our go to electrician in the future!

I am posting this this review on behalf of my parents, since they do not have a Yelp account:

We hired HOERTZ ELECTRIC to update the outlets in our older home, bringing them up to code. They installed GFCI outlets throughout the entire kitchen, and grounded multiple outlets throughout the house.

Chris, the owner of HOERTZ Electric and Michael, also installed a ""dedicated circuit"" so that we could use a portable AC unit in the home. They were very thorough, inquiring about our usage of power, making sure we would have enough added power to have everything functioning properly.

In addition, Chris restored power to the video doorbell, installing a new transformer, making the doorbell and outdoor camera fully functional again.

Chris and Michael were both extremely easy to work with, making sure we were 100% satisfied with everything done. Their work was done neatly and in a timely manner. They arrived promptly at 9 AM, our scheduled appointment time.

We could not be happier with all the work that was done to our home. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.
