HLC Electric Supply Company’s Service Division provides the installation of fresh electrical systems along with servicing existing setups. Examples of our work include panel enhancements, lighting updates, service replacements, landscape illumination, dedicated circuits, sub panel installations, ground fault protection (GFI/GFCI), and electric vehicle charging stations.

HLC Electric Supply Company’s Sales Division focuses on power distribution and motor control equipment. We maintain a vast inventory featuring brands like Allen Bradley, Square D, Westinghouse, ITE, Cutler Hammer, and GE, plus many more. Our offerings include switch and signal gear from various generations of electrical equipment. Additionally, we offer high-efficiency LED lighting for commercial and industrial uses. Our lighting solutions are DLC listed, ensuring they meet the highest electrical efficiency standards. HLC’s vast inventory and comprehensive product expertise make us an asset to commercial and industrial power users and service experts.

Established in 1982, HLC Electric Supply Co. has a long-standing history that goes back even further. During the 1950s, brothers Charley and Art Contreras began a venture called Industrial Marine, which serviced and resold industrial electrical equipment. For more than two decades, during the golden age of electricity, these brothers provided an alternative source for electrical distribution and motor control equipment when manufacturers could not meet the demands of industrial expansion. A significant number of these systems continue to function today. Now, three generations later, HLC Electric proudly serves our community and clients across the nation, leveraging the wealth of knowledge and experience we've accumulated in electrical systems. Charlie Contreras serves as the owner and head technician at HLC Electric Supply Co.. As a licensed C10 electrician, he is an expert in electrical distribution equipment. What distinguishes Charlie in his field is his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship. He is married and a proud father of two wonderful young children. In his leisure time, he enjoys sports and has a passion for saltwater fishing.
