Amazing and honest service. I called regarding a possible hook up for an electric car charger. Bob walked me through things on the phone and in the process I found we had a pre-existing hook up in the garage that should do the trick. He even texted back and forth with me to confirm things looked good with the main circuit breaker panel. Amazing and he saved me money!!

All the outlets on 1 circuit were out in my kitchen and wouldn't work even after resetting the breaker. Bob quickly got in touch with me after I reached out, and suggested several issues that could be the cause.

It turned out his suggestion that the GFCI outlet was correct and the problem was resolved after replacing the outlet. I didn't get to hire Bob this time since I was able to replace the outlet myself, but he'll be the first electrician I call in the future for other issues.

When that didn't work, we asked Bob to come out and take a closer look at the problem. He did a thorough inspection and found that it was a PG&E issue, which PG&E later solved for us. In our garage, we used a heater at the same time while the Tesla was charging and the garage outlet circuit tripped. GFCI reset on the garage outlet didn't click. But the circuit breaker for the garage GFCI is not on our inside electrical panel. Bob the electrician from Hillsborough Electric was going to come out today, but he called me a couple times first to make sure I tried everything. Bob asked if there was a electrical panel outside the house. Sure enough there was one, with Garage GFCI labeled. Flipped that switch, then reset the GFCI button on the outlet, electricity came back on in garage. Saved me some money! I think Bob knows his stuff and he is also an honest & very helpful man. This is the second time I've contacted him, cannot recommend highly enough!
