I had an issue with lights flicking in the house. Spoke with Bob and he suggested that it may be a PG&E issue. PG&E came and was able to solve. Bob is knowledgeable, honest, and on point. I will reach back to him should I have other electrical issues.

I called on a Saturday because power was out in part of my house, including the refrigerator. Hillsborough Electric said there was a good chance this was a problem PG&E would fix for free. And this turned out to be true. I really appreciated the honesty and certainly will use them whenever I need an electrician.

I had an issue with one of my circuit breakers which I deduced most likely needed to be changed out as the 2 outlets it connected to to both stopped working. I contacted a handful of electricians regarding changing out the circuit breaker and Bob immediately responded by asking to speak over the phone. He asked for information regarding the problem and instead of trying to try and get the service work, he walked me through what potentially needed to be done and was very transparent about the simplicity of changing a breaker myself to save on having an electrician charge a few hundred dollars. He was genuinely trying to help me fix my problem even if he was not going to get paid for a service call. I truly appreciated his transparency and honesty! While he does charge by hourly rate, if I had any other electrical needs I would trust Bob to do the job.

I called Bob on a Sunday afternoon for help with a blown out outlet along with some other cascading electrical issues. He was deliberate with me over the phone, ensuring that there wasn't a problem that I could fix on my own. He showed up on time, messaged me throughout on his status and was extremely patient in helping diagnose the issue. After we figured things out, he quickly set out to work and got the work done neatly, cleanly and well-done. I appreciate him coming out on a Sunday afternoon given how busy we all are during the week. Great job and highly recommended!

Had the best experience with Bob. My dryer stopped turning on and it became apparent that the outlet was not working so I quickly contacted local electricians to get someone to look at it. Bob responded promptly and we set up a time for a call. He talked me through some diagnostics and figured out and resolved the problem quickly and since he did so on the call, he most likely saved me $100s on a visit which most electricians immediately recommend. It's very rare nowadays to find someone who is really invested in delivering a great service and I really appreciate it.

I had tried to find an electrician to fix a wall circuit that blew out but didn't blow the fuse AND took out our neighboring bathroom light. The situation seemed quite complicated to me. Bob returned my call in a timely manner, told me he fee structure before he came to the house, assessed the problem and then showed me the problem and clearly explained what needed to be done and then asked me how I wanted to proceed. He fixed the job, once again, in a timely manner, had me test out the fix, and then thoroughly explained the invoice. I LOVE having someone that is no nonsense. I will definetly keep his card and call him again for another job.

We needed an electrician quickly over Memorial Day weekend to check on some issues that came up during an HVAC installation with a contractor who we very suddenly found ourselves not being sure of at all and Bob made himself totally available, he was upfront about cost and what his expertise qualified him for relative to our needs, showed up right on time, was efficient and prudent in assessing and fixing what needed fixing, and definitely didn't seem overly punitive in his assessment of the electrical work that had been done by other contractor.

He also checked in the next day to make sure all was well! Highly recommend.
