I have used High End Electric for two jobs now. A couple of years ago, they replaced my electrical panel and installed a whole-house fan. This past year, they installed a car charger for me.

Nothing but genuine and honest professionals. There is no one else I would call for electrical work.

Called them for an EV charger for the SMUD rebate. He came out that day (Friday) to give me a quote. Got it back over the weekend and performed the service on a Monday. He was running a little late and even reached out to tell me he was like 30 min behind.

The guys working for the company were super friendly. Did the installation in a couple hours. Even fixed an outlet for me for free that I asked him to check out. Didn't charge me a card transaction fee. Absolutely excellent service.

Had a short take out the electricity in two rooms and a hallway. Not good anytime but especially not now since my husband works from home and the short temporarily took out our internet. Ivan came out early morning the next day so my husband's work day wouldn't be interrupted, found the issue (which was caused by outlets in a different room, fixed it all and then also gave me quotes for additional work I've been thinking about. Good dude, good work.

I had probably called 6 different companies for a quote to replace my old electrical panel and those big companies were twice of what Ivan charged. Such a rip off!
I am so glad that Ivan got back to me when I was about to go with another vendor. He was very kind and professional and very transparent about the pricing. Other bigger companies always said ""we won't know until we come look at your panel"" and they'd come and sell you different subscription plans . Annoying!!!!!

Today we finally got our panel and it was awesome! If SMUD were able to come turn on the power earlier, I think Ivan would've been done with the job by noon. Felt bad for him and his worker to have to work in the 103F weather... They arrived on time this morning!!! The entire process was smooth, quick, and efficient (I honestly thought it would take more than 8 hours). He answered all the questions I had. Also brought a power generator for me to use while the power was out.
He also found other issues we had and I really appreciate that. We'll definitely call him up for other projects in the house in the future!

TLDR: 10/10 would recommend and contract again!! Great quality, excellent response time/communication, wonderful customer service and just overall a great group of folks that care about their work and the service you receive.

I don't even know where or how to start. To be honest, I'm completely speechless at the quality, communication, and customer service. From the first point of contact until the end of the contract fulfillment, they were 10/10 amazing. Let's talk about the nitty gritty details.

Product/Installation Quality:
The difference between the old and new panel is night and day. Their work was flawless and they were very clean and considerate of our house and property. They were here for about two days. The first day was prep work for a few hours and the second day was for the actual installation, again for a few hours. They provided us with a back-up generator so that we could continue to do work (we plugged in our WIFI and computers). The panel so far is working great (will update later down the line as the panel is still new as of current).

Communication & Reliability:
Ivan returned my call within 24 hours after my first initial contact to reach out regarding replacing our old Zinsco electrical panel. We set a time/date for his first visit. He showed up on time. From there, we discussed the costs and estimate, and workplan for this project. Again, times and dates were discussed and including what steps were needed: SMUD, prep work, panel replacement, and stucco repair. Everything and every step of this process was communicated very clear from the beginning. SMUD came when Ivan said they would be. Not only that, but Ivan made a point to always communicate when someone would be coming out; whether himself or SMUD, ahead of time. That was an incredibly kind gesture. Every step of the way, they've shown us how reliable they were. Just a gem to work with.

Customer Service & Interaction:
I have to say, out of the several contractors we've had over the years, High End Electric is at the top of our list. Just a wonderful group of people that clearly care about their work and not only that, they truly enjoy what they do. In this blistering heat, where temperatures are 112+, they are consistently in great spirits and true craftsman of their trade. Their sincerity, kindness, and fun personalities are absolutely infectious. It definitely brings a personal connection to the experience. For me, how someone handles the first call including the first point of in-person interaction, gives me a good indication of reliability.

Ivan and his team were wonderful to work with. They were considerate, respectful, and very observant. I truly loved how Ivan interacted with our baby and pets. It was so sweet. 10/10 would recommend and work with again! Speaking of which, we are in need of an extra outlet or two. Hope you guys are ready to come back in August, haha!!
