I have a older build in GE Monogram side by side. I called Hertz Appliance Repair. Russell came out on 1-19-19. On time! He worked hard that afternoon getting ice out that had built up in fridge because of fan not working.
Replaced fan. It kept temperatures for almost 24 hours. Then started losing temps. I called and Russell came back this time it was the mother board. I wasn't sure it would fix it. My refrigerator is fixed running and beautifully !
Every time Russell was right on time, knowledgeable, and very polite.
Thank you Russell,and Hertz for saving me from having to buy a new refrigerator.
I highly recommend them.

The technician Vitali came over to look at our cooktop which was not igniting, and concluded that the wire harness is bad though he could not get a look under the hood. His boss Russell was kind enough to drop by and actually opened up a burner, clicked a picture and showed me exactly what was wrong. He advised us honestly that we should not replace the bad part (since we could still use the cooktop with a manual lighter) which would cost us a lot of money. Rather he suggested replacing the whole thing when we are ready to remodel the kitchen - which I felt to be the correct advice.

I appreciate Russell's commitment to customer satisfaction. I will be happy to work with Russell anytime - with full trust in his skills and experience.

My electric dryer broke all of a sudden. Since our family needs it ASAP, I searched Yelp for quotes for a repair. Hertz Appliance Repair offered a reasonable diagnostic fee that is waived if we choose to have them repair it, and they offered to have a technician come the same day which is what we needed.

The repairman, Vitaliy, came the same day and diagnosed the problem. Very chill guy. He ordered the parts and he came back in 2 days and fixed it. I must admit, the cost is a little expensive but they got the job done fast and professionally. It also came with 6 months warranty on parts and labor which is a plus.

Overall, I recommend them to anyone who needs their dryer fixed. 5 Stars!

A few months ago, my washer had a serious drainage problem. When I called Hertz Appliance Repair that I found on the Internet, the clerk was able to immediately aim at one of their technicians who happened to be in our neighborhood fixing another customer's washer, so the technician could show up quickly. The technician named Russell could figured out the problem accurately and advised me how to avoid it. The charge was reasonable also.

When I called them for my refrigerator compressor relay, the help was timely done.. I kind of know what is the problem from youtube etc.. and expected the same.. so once technician confirmed and he quoted very high price for parts and labor.. which was really surprise..
Though I have explained the fact about the timely help, the price sounded like tooo high and unreasonable for a fridge which was bought for 799 and need to replace a small part for $350. And also the part price quoted on bill sounded like $115 which is avilable in amazon for $16.

So I would say that the service was timely but the price is very unreasonable.

I am a very satisified customer. My trusty Maytag washing machine started leaking after nearly two decades of service. Hertz sent a repairman out within two hours of my first phone call. He located the problem and gave me an estimate for repairs and suggested I might want to replace the unit instead of putting so much money into the old one. I felt like they don't make them like they used to and invested in my trusty old machine. Parts arrived within two days and he came back and within a few hours put my machine back in order. I searched for the parts online and got a good understanding of the cost. I looked at the do it yourself videos on yahoo and realized the repair was rather complex and required more skill than I had. I think the charge was very reasonable.
The service man was polite and respectful of my home. Overall it was a good experience and I have put Hertz Appliance Repair on my go-to list and am very comfortable in recommending them.

Hertz Appliance answered my request for quote for a Bosch Speed Oven repair within the hour. I had a quick exchange with Lucie about appointment times and she had one of their technicians come visit our house in a few hours. They used an app called Housecall, which let me know ahead of time that Russell, the technician was en route. Russell was very polite and friendly, and was able to diagnose the problem right away. He arranged for the faulty part to be procured and was back in 2 days to install the new part when it became available. They charged me for the part and that was it. They take check and credit cards for sure - can't remember if cash was okay.

To sum it up Hertz Appliance did a great job on solving my problem quickly and efficiently.
