Got an answer within minutes on Yelp and quote for a diagnostic ($65) minutes later. The technician was onsite 2 hours later (on a Saturday) and did a thorough diagnosis (which was RIP my dryer), but was helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Can't rate the repair, but I got what was promised and no push to repair!

Russel was on time, knowledgeable and helped me save money in the repair of my refrigerator and oven. I would use them again.

I called Hertz on the weekend to repair by built-in GE Monogram refrigerator and was told they could definitely work on it. The guy got here - very nice - and immediately heard him on the cell phone getting counsel. When he was ready to discuss he said I needed a new sensor because the temperature was off, (the reason he was here) which would cost me $700 that could be applied to future work since this may not fix the problem... Made me scratch my head also since he said the part was about $200 (so $500 labor). I explained that previously GE had been out and had installed a thermistor for $250 (with labor), because the temp was off he said I might need that too but definitely a new sensor. He also said the control panel could be faulty, etc which would equate to $2,100 if they kept having to try new things.....
Here's the thing with Monogram, GE has a diagnostic tool it uses to assess issues. What the tech should have said - rather than trying to take me to the cleaners for $700 - was that I'd be better off calling GE. Also, the woman who answered the phone should be instructed that they can't service Monogram effectively or efficiently.

So impressed with their make sure to get it right at no additional charge. Our built frig needed several comebacks by Hertz. Several more hours of work done with no additional charge. They got it right. Don't think anyone would have been able to diagnose it and fix it quicker. A company that has real integrity.

I have a GE Fridge, the freezer, relay went out. Russell came out and the diagnostic was wrong, he did not change the relay, but clean the coil, it was still not fix. He told me if does not work, I should change the compressor, which would have been a waste of money, he quoted the compressor for 1000 dollars, I could have bought a new one for that kind of money. I was unhappy, Hertz was good though, they gave me a full refund. This is why I gave them a 4 star

Have them fix my built in microwave. I'm glad I contacted Lucie and Aziz. They're quick and easy to communicate, knowledgeable, and give me honest prices and options. If they don't it's worth the fix and I should buy new one instead, they let me know so. I will definitely keep them in mind the next time I need appliance repair.

The initial quote is just for diagnosis, only after they diagnose you get the actual repair price. I wish you guys were more upfront as to what's going to happen, how much you will charge me and how long it takes to fix it.

I love this company! I sent a request for a quote and they replied right away. The lady I was communicating was very nice and let me know all the procedure and schedule
Me for the same day but I had something else to do, so we schedule it for the next day. Today they came and repair my washer in no time. I would definitely recommend them , very professional, friendly and fast.

I have to take it up two stars from my original rating for their handing of the issue after my review. I won't go into the details but would say just this:
It is rare in this sector that a company handles criticism professionally and takes responsibility. I still cannot give them 5-stars but I have a lot of respect for the company and their customer service. I will hire them again.

Disappointed! Had a broken fridge. Called them because of a previous great experience. The guy took a look and announced - ""the control board is bad"". No testing, no diagnostic steps. Just like that. I asked him how does he know it is the problem?
""I have repaired hundreds of them, so I know"", was the reply. Not a good reply, and I was not convinced. I kept pressing for a more technical reason but he didn't give any.
To his credit, he didn't press for fixing it either - he said it is a very expensive work and I might consider buying a new fridge. It was a no pressure talk.
Later on, my wife cleaned up the seals, the fan and the coils etc, and the fridge started working again. Just like that. It has been working for a month now, fingers crossed.

Who says that a broken dishwasher cant be a good experience? Really appreciated how quick Aziz form Hertz came and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back and installed quickly. Nice man, easy communication on arrival time etc and a fair price. Thank you
