Electric Heroes did an entire re-wire in our old house. They are very skilled, efficient, very responsive and polite. We hired a different contractor to patch up the walls after the electrical work was done (expect a lot of patching to do after a re-wiring), that job didn't work that smooth, still Roberto did his absolute best to help in any ways he could. Electric Heroes are very responsive with every correction, enhancement, fixes, warranty, and very comfortable to work with. Highly recommended.

Very torn about how to rate Electric Heroes - so Ill go right down the middle with 3. I'd give pricing and responsiveness a 5, but actual execution a 1.5.

We recently purchased a home built in the 60s, which meant a bunch of ungrounded outlets. I requested a quote to ground 15 outlets all around the house and Robert from Electric Heroes gave me a quote via Facetime (this experience was great). His price quoted was very reasonable, and everything he said made sense so I accepted the quote. 5 stars up to this point.

Electric Heroes ended up sending one electrician (Alex) who was very, very good, but still only one guy. Not sure how they expected one person to do the job, but I ended up helping the entire time pulling wire through the cut holes as Alex fed them to me from the crawlspace, knocking on the ground where the outlets were so Alex knew where to go, and shouting through the ground on where studs were and if the drill was popping out of the trim.


I enjoyed the experience since it taught me what to do if I had to rewire the house myself and Alex was pretty cool to talk to, but still, that can't reasonably be expected out of a customer. Not sure what would've happened if I wasn't home and my wife was the only one here, because she definitely doesn't share my enthusiasm for playing electrician-apprentice for a couple days.

The job also took more than one day because it was only one person and the worst part is that all the outlets had been cut out with live wires exposed and left overnight. I ended up being forced to create makeshift hole blockers using cardboard since I couldn't have my kids touching the live wires.

As other reviews have said, they don't patch anything up - not particularly a problem since I ended up patching myself, but if you aren't particularly passionate about DIY, this might be a big deal. I've included pictures of the holes that needed patching, some were minor cuts, but others had big blowouts that you can see in the pictures.

Go with Electric Heroes if price is your main concern and you don't mind sacrificing a lot of time learning how to patch drywall, potentially helping out yourself, etc - if that doesn't sound exciting to you, you may want to look elsewhere

I needed an EV charger plug installed in my garage. Electric Heroes scheduled a virtual estimate over FaceTime and it was super easy. The technician was very friendly and helpful over the video call. Once I was ready for installation, it was easy to schedule. The technician that came out was also very helpful. He even helped me fix an air vent that came loose in my ceiling. I would

Roberto & Carlos did all electrical work for an additional dwelling unit (garage conversion) in San Jose with permits. Roberto was knowledgeable and helpful with city & PG&E requirements (transformer replacement) . They completed work in timely fashion. I am so grateful to them and their friendly/attentive office staff that made stressful process easy.

Very unreliable. I didn't engage them for service as right in the first couple of interactions, the team & technician showed a very careless behavior and failed to follow up on the scheduled appointments multiple times. I would be careful giving any project to these folks. May delay it quite a bit and doesn't mind slipping on their commitments.

Fast, professional, and they actually returned my calls! We needed to get a couple ceiling fans installed, one in each bedroom. I thought 6 weeks would be enough time, but I wasn't having any luck getting any electricians to call me back. I used the Yelp feature where it will reach out for me.
