I called HH to get an estimate for work, stating clearly the two items that I needed done that I could have done myself but wasnt able to---guess the market is good here because no one ever returned my call or voicemail..So I went with a competitor. At least a callback would be nice...

I'm honestly appalled by the behavior of the logistics person Louise. If you end up speaking with her, just expect a lot of back and forth, a lot of dates changing, and possible yelling on the phone. We were scheduled to have doors installed in our building in July. She changed the date on us twice, switched our contractor, and then when I asked her to fill out some paperwork for insurance for our building, she started yelling at me on the phone. I do not recommend people go with this team unless you need some low level, scrappy work.

I've worked with other contractors who are much more professional. They have no problem providing their insurance and description of work and they do a good job. I was really excited to work with them but the process was revealing.

If you want someone that can reliably schedule, that won't go back and forth on you, please try someone else.

Can't say enough good things about Handyman Heroes in general, and one of their employees, Carlos, in particular. He's worked on several jobs for my company's office, and he's always right on time, on-point, prepared, knowledgeable, fast, proactive, and conscientious. Yes I know there are a few services out there with more competitive pricing, but having the handyman show up exactly on-time, totally prepared and on top of it, friendly, and then doing an immaculate clean up is beyond worth it. This will be my first call every time, whether for my company, my home, or even for my mom!

Vince was great! He came to our office at 7am (to start the projects early so not to disturb during working hours). He hung several large custom wooden art pieces, we pointed to the wall and he took care of the rest. He brought all the tools to get them centered and within the studs of the walls, he even brought the necessary hanging hooks. Vince is kind and courteous, diligent and methodical. We gave him a challenge, a honeycomb inspired wall cling design (drawn crudely on paper) he mapped out the walls, measuring and calculating and the finished project looks amazing. The polygon wall clings were each hand cut and pasted to the wall with such precision that people ask if they came in a preassembled kit- we receive compliments from ever visitor that comes in!

Vince from Handyman Heroes saved the day! Or at least, a dangling light fixture, two wonky drawers and deteriorating wood counter trim. VInce arrived early, moved with speed and purpose, quickly assessed the problems, fixed the light and one drawer in the blink of an eye, and returned promptly the following day with new drawer and replacement counter. The counter trim required exact specifications as it indented over a dishwasher and Vince nailed it. The efficient and economical resolution of these tiny annoyances and eyesores has improved the quality of our lives. Really!

Vince and for Handyman Heroes deserve all the raves they get. Vince and his colleague Clayton removed an above-fridge cabinet, shortened it to perfectly fit a new fridge and reinstalled the cabinet. Having to maneuver in a very tight space could not have been easy but they did it like it was no big deal. They were such a pleasure to deal with -- friendly, happy to answer questions and efficiently quick without rushing and cutting corners. During the work there was an unexpected glitch which Vince took care of it without my even asking.

This was my first time using Handyman Heroes but they will be our go-to team from now on.

We used Vince and team to remove a decorative fireplace facade (involved sheet-rocking and plaster work), do some foundation repair, and build a built-in with drawers and shelves. They got all the work done ahead of schedule (1 week!) and with great quality, at a reasonable price. And they were very very VERY easy to work with. Would recommend them to anyone.

Recently hired HH, they sent Vince, really happy about the service he provided! He didn't just install, he helped troubleshoot the problem and helped resolve it as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. We needed to extend electrical and coaxial cables from nearby locations to mount TV over our fireplace. Again, really happy that Vince came over to help resolve our problem.

Vince from Handyman Hero's is the consummate professional. Yesterday he perfectly installed three external doors in my one hundred year old house. This could not have been an easy job considering the fact that the house has shifted and moved quite a bit over the years, and Vince made sure that the doors fit perfectly before he wrapped up. I also want to thank Louise who has been my contact person at Handyman Hero's. She answers calls and emails right away, and has been very kind and patient. I recommend Handyman Hero's without reservation, and I hope Vince will be available for all of the projects I've been waiting to start!
