So easy to work with! The owner came out to give an estimate, and work started the next week.

Jose and Mike did a great job with a couple one-off fixes (rehung bifold closet doors and fixed a loose exterior door hinge) and a drywall patch/paint from a leak above (a plumber previously fixed the leak). We have a tenant who said the ceiling looks perfect, and said they were ontime and easy to have in the house.

And, the work invoice was less than the estimate! When do you see that happen?!? Definitely will be calling them again! Thank you HH!

I had several small items that needed to be addressed and had reached out to several different handyman services. With Handyman Heroes, there was an on-site estimate fee (reimbursed if you select them) and they book by the hour, which is a bit different than what I'm used to (project based fee). I ultimately settled on Handyman Heroes because they had good ratings and they were licensed, bonded and insured. I'm so glad I did.

While there was a delay here and there by a couple of days in communication, Miguel was very responsive throughout the whole process, answering my many questions and they really listened to me and did what they could to address my concerns and needs - I will tell you that this RARELY happens with any contractor. Communication is almost always an issue! I had questions on the initial estimate (we couldn't afford to do all the work I had initially had them quote) and they assured me I would only be billed for the time spent doing the work on the projects we selected.

Regarding the work itself, Mike and Francisco came on time and did the work well! Our major issue was that there was water getting into our walls around the windows inside when it rains, so I suspected it was due to cracks in the wood/stucco around the window frames (due to what the previous contractor told me). Mike confirmed this when he climbed up on the ladder. They scraped off the cracked paint and repainted the frame where there was damage and put some wood putty there. They sealed the cracks they saw with high grade sealant. Most importantly, they did everything the right way! We had some fairly heavy rain over the past couple of weeks and we had no wet patches around the windows, yay!

With Handyman Heroes, there is no upselling or recommendation of work you don't need and they don't sit around on the job to rack up the hourly charges. They are an open, honest and well run contractor/handyman business - a rare find. Their rates are very fair for the quality of the work they do and I would absolutely refer them and use them again.

We hired HH for our bathroom remodel. We provided the design and all of the decorative building materials, and they did a great job of doing everything from reworking the plumbing and electrical to reframing where necessary, setting the tile and prepping for cabinet and stone installation. Samuel was our lead contractor who did an outstanding job. Meticulous about his workmanship and very easy to work with. Jake was our main plumber and he, too, did a very thorough job. For small general contracting jobs like a bath remodel, Handyman Heroes is a very good option.

This is our third time working with Handyman Heroes. The first two times were very small projects (one was in the middle of pandemic) both times we had Mike. Mike was awesome. He was professional, quick and did a great job with a jammed/broken double hung window and with cutting a mail slot in our garage door.

Our third time working with Handyman Heroes was for a much bigger project. We upgraded our attic space to be a more finished home office. For this project we had Samuel Hernandez and Jose Mendez. They were fantastic. The were knowledgeable in all the aspects of the project and knew what to do when encountering anything that we hadn't anticipated. They had great recommendations for things we hadn't thought of. Another bonus is that they were friendly and thoughtful and worked well together. We are really happy with how our project turned out. I highly recommend Handyman Heroes and have already inquired about my next project!

I developed a roof leak in my kitchen during the first big rain and I needed someone to come out and deal with it. I called Heroes and they sent a great handyman in less than an hour. He fixed the problem and now all is well. They're responsive, knowledgeable and great value.

Wow! So happy with the work we had done. Mike was our hero and he did a fantastic job putting up the drywall and getting it paint ready. We will definitely use HH again. They were very patient with us as our project kept getting delayed due to inspections. I appreciated how responsive they were over email. Do plan some wiggle room around arrival time. The project started 30ish minutes after the scheduled time. Everyone we interacted with was great!
