Bill is super helpful and very easy to work with. I recently moved to the area and found him on Yelp. I appreciated that he was taking necessary precautions during COVID-19 and wearing a mask for some of his clients. I had some general house repairs needed (closet door and track installation, large wall hole repair, shower grout), and he was the right man for the job. He communicated in advance and helped me save money by having me go buy some of the materials (so I didn't have to pay for the time he would need to spend at Home Depot), and so he hit the ground running when he got here. He has a great attitude and even spent time teaching me a thing or two. Really appreciate Bill's help, and am planning to use him again!

Highly recommend Bill of Handy Craftsman. He came to my house during the quarantine to install a fridge. He showed up on time and with latex gloves and masks. Needless to say this made my wife and me feel less anxious and confirmed we made the right choice.

Had him also install swing doors on our closet instead of the builder spec bypass ones. Completed both jobs within a fair time and surpassed my expectations, especially on the fridge trim.

In summary, if you need work done during this crazy time - or after it for that matter - give Bill a call.

Bill was timely and did an outstanding job assembling our project that we found to be more than we could handle. He. took his time so that the job was done correctly and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards.

During this critical period of fighting Corvid-19, Bill was conscientious about public safety and was prepared, wearing gloves and mask/bandana. We had purchased a Pickleball Rebounder to enable practice/physical activity while at home but found we needed the assistance of ""Handy Craftsman"". The Rebounder assembly process was extensive plus the manufacturer had shorted the hardware required. No worries, Bill had the missing hardware available.

Over the years, I have worked with many contractors and this was truly, a refreshing experience. Bill provide an exact quote up front. His work was excellent and plan to use his expertise on future projects. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

We have used Bill Bastian of Handy Craftsman many times. He is always punctual, friendly, and reasonably priced. We have always been very happy with his work and the clean-up needed afterwards. We will definitely keep using him and highly recommend him to everyone else!

Bill arrived on time with a friendly demeanor. He efficiently hung, adjusted, fixed, and assembled all of the projects I needed help with around our house. He was respectful of our home and cleaned up any mess related to his work.

There was one item that proved tricky to hang. Bill called later that day to say he thought he had a better way to hang it and would come back and adjust it at no charge. He did come back at a convenient time for me and his fix was in fact better. True to his word, he did not charge me. Wow! I've never had that kind of customer service before.

I will definitely contact Bill again in the future when I need assistance around the house.

I needed a handful of repairs made, one of them which i thought would require some ""advanced"" carpentry (replacement/repair of a door frame). We actually were wondering if we would need a contractor or if handyman would be able to do it. Bill was able to repair the door frame without replacing fully and also took care of our other small jobs. He came with some pretty fancy tools that I don't think your ""average"" handyman would utilize. Not sure if he didn't have those the work would've been done so nicely. He was knowledgeable, experienced and did not upsell me. I would def use him again!

**I will admit the communication via text (per his request) was a little sporadic. If you have an urgent need, I would definitely make it clear. We were not in a hurry, so I was fine waiting for the responses and I did not make an effort to follow up. I'm sure if I did follow up, he would've responded.

Bill is amazing. He was on time. Great attitude. Came to fix my microwave and toilet. He got it all done in less than 30 minutes for cheaper than the other contractors I got quotes from. He's my go to guy now for anything I need. Thanks Bill.

Pretty disappointed in Bills work. We ordered 2 white oak shelves and I said multiple times i do not want nails in front of shelve faces. Bill told me he had to use a few. Unfortunately a few meant 23 nail holes in my $700 shelves. Shelves we built very strong but the finish on the front of shelves turned out like garbage. If you want your project painted Bill is your guy. But if you are planning on using stain or oil finish I would look elsewhere. Bill's response was to hire a finished painter to color match but no painter wants to touch it. Will need to tear these down and hire someone who understands want the customers wants. $700 down the tube.

Really excellent -- timely, careful, thorough, flexible, creative, and high quality. I had an oddball job involving a replacement oven that didn't quite fit into the existing cabinets (slightly too tall, and a good bit too narrow) and he helped me get the cabinets to fit back around it very well. It required some creativity to avoid turning it into an even larger job -- e.g. another company wanted to send two technicians, pull the whole oven out and spend four hours working on it, but with some creativity and care it took him just a bit over an hour, and the final product was excellent. I'll use him again if I need this type of service.
