Carlos and the guys from Guerreros Electric are great. I have an old house in the Oakland hills that needs a lot of electrical love and am completely stoked to have found Carlos. He came by quickly when I asked for a quote, was really great in explaining everything to me and completed the work quickly and on budget.

I like do to as much of our renovations myself as I can, but there are plenty of projects that lie outside my confidence. When they come up, I look to Yelp to search out really good local skill. Guerrero's is one of those great finds.

I contacted Carlos to install a sub-panel to support the new circuits I was adding for our kitchen remodel. He came out the next day, gave me a very reasonable quote and chatted with me about the wiring I was planning. A few weeks later (my schedule) they installed the panel, took a look at the work I'd done, and made a few suggestions. Between the time of the quote and the work, I'd discovered that the 240v stove circuit had been totally messed up (by a guy who is, thankfully and not surprisingly, now out of business - this was pre-Yelp, of course). Carlos replaced the circuit for a nominal charge (about a third what the first guy charged to do it wrong). He also offered to be on hand for the inspection, but I knew how packed his schedule was and I was so confident of the work, I decided to handle the inspection right along with the one for the electrical that I'd done. My confidence in Guerreros was fully warranted, the inspection went off without a hitch. They worked quickly, on budget, and provided those little touches that promise a great, long-lasting relationship. I already have a couple of projects in mind for them.

He will give you options and will tell you what needs to be repaired or replaced and will try and save you money as well. I called them to inquire about updating the wiring in my detached garage, and I had an estimate later that same day, and they managed to fit the job into a gap in the schedule that same week. My garage is now wired exactly as I want it for use as a work shop. They even added some extra conduits between my house and the garage so I could pull network cable in the future without digging up my driveway again.

Carlos rewired my entire house in Martinez. It is old and the electrical was actually dangerous. I am very happy with the work and the convenience of many new outlets and expanded lighting.
