What a great experience! Guerreros Electric fixed a broken outlet, replaced a ceiling fan, and replaced a motion detector light and I am so happy with how everything came together! The crew of people working were so friendly, polite, and working really hard and fast to get it done in just a few hours. I am totally impressed! And the price for everything was totally reasonable! I can see why Carlos has received excellent reviews in the past. Carlos and Jose just spent about 3 hours to install a chandelier in our dining room, troubleshoot multiple switches and evaluate, as well as, educate us on the differences and benefits of upgrading our sub panel vs. grounding non-grounded electrical outlets throughout our 1940 house. He is the third electrician to assess our current electrical status, and we finally felt that his assessment was more honest, direct, and logical compared to others. In addition, upon initially contacting him via his website, we received a response later that day, which resulted in him coming out to our house a few days later. We look forward to working with him and his team again.

had a problem with the cables connecting my meter to my service panel, called PG&E, who said they wanted to fix it, but then when they showed up they claimed i needed to hire an electrician instead. I called Guerreros and they took care of it quickly and courteosly, and took the time to explain what was wrong in terms I could understand. Thanks!

Carlos came by to fix a broken outlet and assess other electrical issues at our home. After receiving as estimate for several items we found that communicating with him via email was difficult and his answers were curt. While he may be a skilled electrician we'd prefer working with someone more personable. He was also an hour late to our appointment.

Responded quickly to my evening e-mail after a power outage in about half the circuits in our old home, and then called me first thing in the morning to follow up. Before coming out, he insisted that I check in with PGE first, talk to a live person and get an immediate service check to make sure the problem was on the home side and not the PGE side. I was dubious, (how could the problem be on the PGE side when half my circuits still had power?) but I called, PGE came, wires were blown in their control box, they repaired it and problem solved. Thank you Carlos!

It all started from first contact. I emailed Carlos at Guerreros Electric to request a home visit and quote. Carlos replied that day (a Friday) and was able to come by on Monday. I got his quote on Tuesday. That small interaction revealed his responsiveness and attention to detail that permeates all of his work. In stark contrast, the other electricians I contacted took weeks to just get a quote.

When Carlos was doing the walk through, he explained in detail all the things called out on our home inspection report in addition to any other items he saw that needed attention. He was honest and forthright in helping me better understand knob and tube wiring and some of the pre-existing work done by the prior homeowner.

We decided to go with Guerreros Electric in large part to the way Carlos runs his business. We were doing a mixed bag of work (cleaning up the main panel wiring, installing new outlets, rewiring pre-existing older outlets, etc.) and Carlos let me know his crew would arrive at 8:10 a.m. on the scheduled work day. His full crew arrived before 8:10. I watched them operate as a fully integrated team. They immediately dispersed across different tasks. One of his crew working inside first laid out plastic along the walkways to protect our rugs and flooring. Each person on the team assigned to a task was working efficiently and it was all coordinated by Carlos on site who was also attending to our main panel clean up. Throughout the day as the team finished each task, they left the area cleaner than when they arrived.

When the team finished and were packed up ready to go, Carlos noticed an external flood light that was installed but not wired. He stayed behind with one member of his team to wire it correctly and even installed a motion detector to replace the daylight sensor that was previously installed. All of this happened at the low end of his quote and I cannot emphasize how happy I was with their work. I absolutely highly recommend Guerreros Electric. I know this is my first and only Yelp review but I felt compelled to sign up and leave this review based on the level of professional work we received.

Without a doubt, Guerreros Electric is the BEST electrician in the Bay area. Carlos and his crew rewired our entire two story house in Berkeley in only one week. They are super fast, professional, totally responsive, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. They anticipate everything about a project and get the job done. I rank them in the top 1% of any business that I have ever dealt with. I rarely write reviews, but Guerreros Electric inspired me to share my truly excellent experience.

I just want to thank Guerreros Electric for their help last week. During a big rain storm, something happened to my electricity and I thought it was the old wiring in my 1937 cottage finally going. It was after 7 pm on a Friday, my husband and son were out of town, and so I called Guerreros Electric for help --I had never used them, but decided to call them because of many 5 star ratings and glowing reviews. I was leaving a long, freaked out message on their answering service, when someone there picked up and told that I needed to call PG&E immediately because the problem was with the wiring going into the house. He told me exactly what to tell PG&E and then gave me instructions about what to do and not do until the repairperson got there. He also told me to tell PG&E that I had talked to an electrician about this and that the problem was urgent. Well, I hung up and did exactly what he told me to do. It took four hours for PG&E to get to me, but his diagnosis was exactly right. I am so grateful for the help Guerreros Electric gave me for free, out of the goodness of their hearts, and the next time I need an electrician, I will call them. Thank you so much Guerreros Electric for being there when I needed help!

Haven't hired Carlos, and review is based on my phone conversation with him. Very pleasant guy who provided useful advice (that might actually result in obviating the need for an electrician). It's really refreshing to talk with a straight-shooter and that alone is the basis for five stars.
