I just want to thank Guerreros Electric for their help last week. During a big rain storm, something happened to my electricity and I thought it was the old wiring in my 1937 cottage finally going. It was after 7 pm on a Friday, my husband and son were out of town, and so I called Guerreros Electric for help --I had never used them, but decided to call them because of many 5 star ratings and glowing reviews. I was leaving a long, freaked out message on their answering service, when someone there picked up and told that I needed to call PG&E immediately because the problem was with the wiring going into the house. He told me exactly what to tell PG&E and then gave me instructions about what to do and not do until the repairperson got there. He also told me to tell PG&E that I had talked to an electrician about this and that the problem was urgent. Well, I hung up and did exactly what he told me to do. It took four hours for PG&E to get to me, but his diagnosis was exactly right. I am so grateful for the help Guerreros Electric gave me for free, out of the goodness of their hearts, and the next time I need an electrician, I will call them. Thank you so much Guerreros Electric for being there when I needed help!

Haven't hired Carlos, and review is based on my phone conversation with him. Very pleasant guy who provided useful advice (that might actually result in obviating the need for an electrician). It's really refreshing to talk with a straight-shooter and that alone is the basis for five stars.

We've had Carlos and his crew come out to do two big projects for us: install recessed lights & replace the leftover portion of knob and tube wiring in our 90-year-old bungalow.

The first time they came out, we had just moved in and wanted to install recessed lights in our living room and master bedroom, 11 cans total. It was a lot of work but his crew installed all of it in one day and it was one of the best investments we made for our home.

The second time was to do the big work, replace the knob and tube wiring. This took 2 days but in that time Carlos found some more issues and suggested other improvements. Since some of our old track lighting fixtures would have to get removed as part of the knob and tube replacement, he gave us a discount on adding recessed lights in their place since they were already in our attic, 8 more cans. He also said the installation of the ceiling fan in our office wasn't up to code (oops, we had our handyman do it) and fixed that for us as well. Under our home, the splicing was a mess (expected since various parts of our home was remodeled/renovated at different times) and his crew fixed that too.

It's a pretty penny to do this electrical work, but trust Carlos and his team to do it right and for a fair price.

I would definitely call him again when we need additional work done.

Carlos was responsive via telephone and setting up an in-person appointment was relatively easy via e-mail. He confidently diagnosed the problem and graciously charged us the lesser of two quoted fees because, in the end, there was not much work to do (as we are renters).

Carlos is prompt, efficient and courteous. Great service, great price and totally listened to us and what we needed. He rewired the older parts of our Frankenstein house and installed a new box, gave good advice. He is the best. You will pay more and get less if you use someone else!

I just got a replacement hot tub delivered yesterday and because of my own mistake the electrician who usually installs them wouldn't be able to come around for a week. I called Mr. Guerreros that afternoon and he was on my doorstep early this morning to bid the job. He could have done it sooner than their guy and gave me a competitive price. But in the mean time we heard back from the fellow who'd wired our original hot tub and he was able to stop by at lunch today and get it done. Nice to know we've got an electrician as efficient and well loved (judging by YELP) as Carlos Guerreros in our neighborhood for in the future. I'm keeping his number for next time.

Great service and reasonable price. Walked me through the basics on the phone and got an estimate to me right away. Came with his son who was learning - both Carlos and his son were polite and really nice to work with.

Job was completed as promised and expected. Looks better than I thought it would actually! Carlos installed a new EV charger for the garage. Put in a new circuit and made sure everything was working. I will call Guerreros again.

Guerreros Electric provided prompt, professional, and competent service involving checking a fussy fuse and removing six old fixtures and installing six new ones. I felt that the job was in good hands and done with care. Highly recommend.

Since this review was posted, Guerreros Electric came back to trouble shoot a problem I had felt was solved. They went above and beyond in spending time to resolve this very tricky issue (a wire to a rarely used fan shorting a fuse - but intermittently) and then refused any additional payment. I never heard of such conscientious, beyond-honorable professional service. And before they left, they checked an additional light on their way out. They are the best.
