We had several light fixtures, a ceiling fan and exhaust fan installed. Gubrud's had no problem with doing the job since we had purchased our fixtures and did not get them through Gubrud's. We had a slight hiccup when the receptionist did not actually reschedule my appointment. The day of, no one showed up. She apologized and rescheduled for a couple of days later. Benny was so pleasant and went above and beyond when getting my down rod for the ceiling fan to work. I ordered the wrong one. Gubrud's price matched an electrical company that I had received an estimate from prior to calling Gubrud's. I definitely recommend Gubrud's.

This is our second experience with Grubuds and once again, they were great. The technician, Marco was knowledgeable and patient. He addressed all of the issues with efficiency and expertise. He even spent extra time to go over a very complicated landscape lighting system to see where it could be improved. We appreciate their time and dedication to their customers.

My newly delivered dryer would not turn on and the delivery people said it had to be the electrical outlet or breaker. I contacted Gubruds and set an appointment for a technician to come out to diagnose the problem. Robert, the technician was able to diagnose the problem and fix the issue. He explained the issue and answered all of my questions so I would understand the issue and the solution. He had to obtain the part but did so promptly and I was soon very happily doing laundry once again. Robert was very professional and courteous. Overall very happy with the service, from the person scheduling the service to the technician performing the service.

6/20/23 Hired Gubruds to bring our electrical panel up to code and install a dedicated line to the microwave. Benny started out by showing up 4 hours late and his assistant Mike was even 1 hr. later. This company does not show up on time! They even sold us a ""Guardian Membership"" which guarantees we will be bumped up in front of others to show up on time. That is a waste of money! Plus you can only use 1 coupon at a time. I tried to combine 5 of the coupons but was denied. After paying them for the work, I asked for a receipt but did not get one. An itemized invoice would have been nice to show how much each item costs and each discount. Breakdown labor & materials would have been nice. Benny told me this company has a computer bid for them. Therefore you never get an itemization of costs. It's just one lump sum. I will not be using this company again or recommend them!!!!!

I hired Gubruds Electrical to repair/service/replace my next door neighbor's smoke alarms. Robert Vergara did the job and was by far the most efficient, knowledgeable, and articulate person I've ever had do work for me. He replaced a couple of smoke alarms and made sure that all of them were working fine. The alarms are hard-wired to the house, which means that no more batteries need to be changed, and no more beeping in the middle of the night. Robert is the best.

From Gabby In reception, to Benny the Electrician this is a great business to get Electrical Needs taken care of. Benny installed a BMW EV Charger, hard wired in to my Electrical Panel--his first BMW EV, which came with Zero Instructions. It took a few hours, however, Benny made sure that everything was working.

I scheduled an electrician because I installed a new light fixture in my son's room but the fixture was not turning off with a newly installed light switch. I was told that it would cost $79 for an electrician to come out. When the electrician arrived for the appointment, the fee to actually diagnose the problem jumped up to $179. Then what was the $79 fee for? To have them ring the doorbell? Upon examination by the electrician, the light switch receptacle wasn't controlling the light fixture at all and a new leg had to be run down from the fixture to the tune of $400+. I felt like I was deceived by the initial charge. Just let your customers know that the starting cost for diagnosis at the home is at the very least $179. That would have changed my mind from the very onset.

Even the electrician said the way the dispatch operators explain the price is confusing. If your own people know it's a problem, how do you expect your customers to react???
