Way too complicated to contact. They can't even tell you how much extra EMERGENCY service costs compared to a regular appointment.
Lots of doubletalk and a bad experience all around.

Wow! What a complicated thing. Call for appointment and the cluck says there are emergency and regular service calls.
I ask what the price difference is. Well, says the cluck. Do you want emergency or regular""
Cluck can't tell me what the emergency will cost. So cluck books appt.
Cluck says she has to TRANSFER me to the place that does the emergency stuff.
So cluck books appt and I ask when I will get to talk to the emergency place.
Cluck says I ....can't....because she booked the appointment.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo you can book an appt or get emergency service but they can't tell you how much the emergency service costs.
This is such a shame. I would NEVER DO BIZZ HERE !!!!

I can't begin to say how great this company is! I live in an older home with with an electrical panel and wiring from the 1970s. Today, literally half my house lost all electricity. Louis and Tony were very friendly, but more importantly, very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. My electrical problem wasn't an easy fix, like a bad breaker, but they were able to find the problem and restore my electricity. I highly recommend Gubruds if you need an electrician.

Gubrud's hit the mark on a number of things that are very important to me as someone shopping for a contractor. They answered the phone promptly, listened to my description of the work to be done and understood what I was looking for, and they scheduled an estimate appointment that was timely rather than weeks and weeks out. I had a number of projects to get done: updating knob and tube wiring and grounding outlets throughout my 1937 home, adding outlets and switches in a number of rooms, installing new light fixtures, improving wiring in my garage, and modernizing an outdated breaker box. Jeffrey, the electrician who did my estimate, listened to my wish list and proposed a number of different options for what I was looking to accomplish, and explained what the result of each option would be if I chose it. I was confident with what the plan was for all the work when I scheduled the appointment.

The work itself took three days, the first day with electricians Bonnie and Marcus and the next two with just Marcus. They showed up promptly and were very courteous in my home, listened to my concerns and consulted with me whenever there was a question about how I wanted things done. When they were done with the work each day, they cleaned up any mess or debris and made sure I had all my questions answered before leaving.

Throughout the process I never felt out of the loop or unclear about what was going on. There were a few things on my admittedly long wish list that didn't get communicated correctly from the electrician who drew up the estimate to the ones who completed the work, but we sorted that out right away because they walked through the list with me before beginning work. I never felt like the work wasn't being done properly or safely. I am incredibly relieved to now have safe and modernized electrical components in my home, and I feel confident in the work that Gubrud's electricians did.

I don't know anybody who could write anything less than 5 stars about this agency. Gubruds's Electrical Contracting is professional, clean, on-time, and HONEST! I find it difficult to find professionals that are able to come out and be honest with their quite and give me concise information about the problem at hand, Jeffrey was more than able to do that. When there was a problem Jeffrey was able to come out quickly and was able to diagnose and mitigate the problem within an hour. Their prices are fair and they are transparent in them as well. I will always reach out to them when we are in need of anything.

Professional. On time. Covid friendly. Fair prices with amazing work and customer service. Fit me in same day where other companies wouldn't even give me the time of day. From scheduling the appointment to project completion it was a pleasure. My guy was Chris and I got to enjoy talking to this great guy for awhile while he completed my project. Very knowledgeable and on the ball. If I would, I would have him do anything electrical I had for the rest of my lifetime. Perfect service. They will be doing my panel when the time comes next year. Highly recommended.

We are in need of a backup electrical system in case of emergency for our home, and called Gubruds.The rep showed up, and we looked at a number of different possibilities. He left and was going go give us a quote. We never heard back from him. Very disappointing.
