Tim is very professional and has the best prices around. He has done numerous jobs around our house. Some big and some small. His prices and service are unbeatable.

Tim is friendly and trustworthy. His knowledge of building and codes is very strong too. He can help you with so many things around your house. He is our electrician. We will not use anyone else as long as he is working!

We needed to replace a very old and potentially dangerous electrical panel. I know several electrical contractors who gave me bids but they couldn't do the job within my time frame. I then looked up electrical contractors in my area through Yelp and called four electricians.

Tim Ash from Grid Electric was the first to return my call and asked comprehensive questions to determine the scope this job required - I needed everything new from PG&E's line down to the box and in to the house. I compared Grid's electric quote with two other quotes I already had. His quote included all parts, labor and permits; and was less expensive; AND he was willing to come out and look at it right away.

I was not comfortable about the current condition of the panel. Tim from Grid Electric immediately responded to my sense of urgency. He jumped on this job right away, got the permit and all the parts in one day. Then, the next day he was here and installed it all. And what a clean professional job he did!.

Unfortunately, when I have work done, I am real picky and literally stand watching every move. I usually have to have things redone to make sure it's done right. Not with Grid Electric. I am more than happy with the installation and his work habits.
I know it's done right.

The Inspector came out and signed off on everything the first time. I plan on using Grid Electric again. What a great find. Thank you Yelpers for your input. Grid Electric is now my go-to electrician from now on! And I do not hesitate to recommend him.

We hired Tim to do a panel replacement and upgrade. First, he came out to give us a quote on a Sunday. Then, his price was 40-50% less than the other two quotes we got for the job, and it was all-inclusive for the permit and appointment, where the others would have tacked on additional fees.

He was on time for each appointment we made with him, and completed the work in a single day as promised. Finally, when I discovered at 8:00 the night of the replacement that my stove-top and oven wouldn't turn on, he came out at 8:30 pm to figure it out. It turned out that they had been wired incorrectly when they were installed, and although it wasn't his fault or his responsibility, he switched the wires to correct the problem. I had a functional kitchen by 8:50pm.

Their price was very fair, the electrician was always on time, his work was of high quality and he came back out to take care of a few loose ends after the work was finished. Also he was very courteous which is never a guarantee when working with someone for the first time. I highly recommend Grid Electric.

I called Tim at 8:00 pm on a Friday night because my mom was having electrical issues at her house, and even though he was going out of town he said he could come right over take a quick look to see if he could diagnose the problem. It ended up being a pg & e issue so we didn't actually need his services but I will definitely keep his number handy for the future. He was very professional ,considerate, dependable, and friendly and I really appreciated his willingness to help!

I had eight 5"" recessed lights installed. The quality of the work was clean and efficient. The lights were installed without having to do any patch-work afterwards. On the first visit, he took the time to understand what I needed and quoted a reasonable price.

Tim and his crew are professional and courteous. And for those that maintain a shoe-less household, no problem. They have shoe covers.

I hired Tim again to install recessed lighting in our living room and install ceiling lights in our bedroom and office/den. As before, he worked efficiently, got the job done in less than a day.
