I called Tim at 8:00 pm on a Friday night because my mom was having electrical issues at her house, and even though he was going out of town he said he could come right over take a quick look to see if he could diagnose the problem. It ended up being a pg & e issue so we didn't actually need his services but I will definitely keep his number handy for the future. He was very professional ,considerate, dependable, and friendly and I really appreciated his willingness to help!

I had eight 5"" recessed lights installed. The quality of the work was clean and efficient. The lights were installed without having to do any patch-work afterwards. On the first visit, he took the time to understand what I needed and quoted a reasonable price.

Tim and his crew are professional and courteous. And for those that maintain a shoe-less household, no problem. They have shoe covers.

I hired Tim again to install recessed lighting in our living room and install ceiling lights in our bedroom and office/den. As before, he worked efficiently, got the job done in less than a day. Gave a good price-even reducing it when he found he quoted something he didn't need to do! Left the house clean and orderly. An honest, friendly company that I would highly recommend!

Tim did all the rough electric work on my kitchen remodel. He was able to work on my project on short notice. The wiring work was excellent and nicely labeld for me to do all the finish work later. I passed all inspections on the job. I would highly recommend him and I will be using him again on another project. His pricing was very fair.

Tim came highly recommended and for good reason. He did a great job. He fixed all my bathroom and bedroom electrical problems. He Installed new outlets and switches, grounded everything and brought me up to code and safe. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He also did not charge me extra for an unseen problem that arose, that he made sure was no longer a problem.

Sept. 2012 - Great job, great price - Had Tim, owner of Grid Electric, upgrade my 100 amp electrical panel to 200 amp, plus include a whole house surge protector. He was easy to work with, punctual, and his work passed City of San Jose inspection with no problems. He also worked with me and PG&E to coordinate the PG&E cut-off / reconnect power process that many electricians do not want to deal with, even though PG&E states that home owners are to file an application with them if they want to upgrade their panel - just to be sure their infrastructure (i.e., wiring to your house and transformer) are up to snuff to handle the upgrade. Tim planned for contingencies (i.e., came in day before to do some preliminary work) to maximize his project schedule that had to fit in with City of SJ and PG&E. Tim cleaned up the work site and did a clean job. I also liked the fact that Tim is a licensed electrician who does his own work, unlike many licensed contractors who give you the estimate, but will send out their certified workers to do the job. I will refer him to my friends and use him in the future.
