For what it's worth, I'm a retired Civil Engineer/ Vietnam Vet. I called "" Gary's Electric"" for a quote, he handed me his business card with no Contractor's lin. # on the card. By California law, all contractors are to post their contractor's lin. # on their business cards, so I looked his name up on the California state lin. database and came up with nothing.

Somethings wrong here.

California requires anyone doing Electric work to be lins/ bonded. and they do this for a good reason, mostly to protect the homeowner. If someone doing business as an electrictrician, but has no contractors lins and if something goes wrong, or someone gets hurt on the job the homeowner is left holding the bag. In the past when I ran contractors lins on job sites I've been on, and have busted contractors applying for work they always tell me the same story "" I'm just trying to make a living"" by cheating the system. Putting the homeowner liable for any damage or injury

California electricians have the highest hr. rate in the united states. So in my mind they have no reason under the sun NOT to keep their contractor lins. in good standing, have insurance. It's illegal to do business as an electrician without passing a contractor's lins. exam, and proving you are skilled in your trade. I don't know if Gary is a good electrician or not, I didn't hire him. I don't hire contractors with no contractor lins that want to be paid as much as someone that does have an up-to-date contractors lins.

Greg came out on very short notice took care of the GFI issues along with the whole house fan issue. Quite simply he knows what he's doing and is very reasonable and fair and knows his craft.

I really got lucky coming across Greg. He did a clean job on the install of my electric vehicle outlet. I have a solar panel unit and it can get complicated. He knew what to do right away and completed the job extremely quick. He also was kind enough to offer to come back to help install lighting. He and his partner are great and efficient. Highly recommended!

Had Greg and brother(?) installed 4 ceiling fans around March 2019, they were on time on the appointment time schedule (I would call ahead as good electricians are always in demand and schedule could be about a week or so ahead) ..in short 4 ceiling fans, with wall control with fan assembly, then installation took less than 2 hours, It would have taken me a day each fan, probably a few shock here and there so their service is worth it.

Good thing I had it installed before the weather got hot and this guys are great and friendly!

Thanks Greg for the wondeful service and installation. We had Greg's Electric install overhead light fixtures in two of our bedrooms, and Greg and Jared knocked it out perfectly. Greg responds promptly to your intial call and expeditiously arrange for our project in about a week's time only!

I called Greg on a Sunday morning to trouble shoot and fix my hall way lights and doorbell. He was able show up the same day a few hours later! Its almost to good to be true. He trouble shot the problem and fixed the problems in less than an hour and I was shocked at the amount he DIDNT charge us! I was expecting at least double.
