New to Brentwood and being a homeowner. We've got lots of projects to take care of but the one thing that had to get done ASAP was take down and replace a rather ugly (in my opinion anyway) ceiling fan that was in the center of our living room and replace it with a modern looking light fixture. It was so super important to get a reliable electrician since this is the center of our home and one of the first things you see when you walk in. Greg was very responsive from letting us know how to measure our ceiling height, to providing a bid and then scheduling an appointment.
The chandelier we chose was not an easy installation-not only was it going to hang from a high sloped ceiling, but it also had a complicated design. Greg arrived exactly on time during his appointment window and did an amazing job. As you can see from the pictures, making this piece look level and dealing with the way it hangs was not easy!
He also took a look at some other work we're considering but not ready for yet, which was truly above and beyond.
100% recommend him for your electric needs.

We called Greg on a Sunday evening over breaker issues. He provided great information over the phone to help us with the issues but we still ended up requesting him to come out to take a look. He was efficient, responded quickly to our call and got to our house under an hour. He got all our electrical problems fixed. My husband and I are very happy with his service and will definitely use him again in the future. We totally recommend him to anyone who's looking for a reliable electrician in the area.

I've not yet used Greg's services, but I was very impressed that he answered his phone immediately (on a busy Friday for him) and informed me of his scheduling challenges, and offered a visit early the following week. It sounds like great customer service, and I will use him when needed.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Complete jerk from the moment he arrived. I gave him the benefit of a doubt at 1st, maybe he was having a tough day (tho he arrived @10am for the service... not much time beforehand to have a bad day). I ended up having to ask him to leave as he was cussing me out (and I admittedly reciprocated) and he took my broken breakers with him! I told him to give them back but he refused because I'm a renter and don't own the home. He ended up having to drop them off to my property manager so I can have then for a replacement reference.

Not sure what just occurred.....but I wrote to him via Yelp to inquire about a job. Due to my job and the hours I work I asked my wife to call him... my wife had been trying to reach him via phone multiple times.. left voicemails... no response to her calls. I called today and got in contact with him... explained I had an electric water heater, a safe that required an outlet, etc. and that I needed another outlet in my garage. He asked me very specific questions which I wouldn't know (I'm not an electrician) such as did I need a ""dedicated"" plug? ""Can I run off the other lines?"" I don't know....Never have done electric work....which was why I was calling.... He then stated that he would need to come out and take a look at the job to see what needed to be done. I said ""Ok"" and he said ""Ok"" and then he hung up... without setting a time, arranging anything... I mean... his 5 star reviews made it seem like he was reliable and a good choice... Not so sure what I did wrong... or if I caught him at a bad time... Guess I'll inquire elsewhere. 2 stars because I'm not sure if there was some lack of communication on my end... but he just didn't seem to want to be bothered... by my wife or myself.

I have hired Gregg for 2 projects so far and will be calling him again for a third. He installed a ceiling fan outside under my balcony and a 240 volt outlet in my garage for my electric car. He is quick to schedule and reasonably priced.

Greg (and Jared!) didn't just install a chandelier for me...they created a work of art! Thanks to them, I now love my formal living room and feel as though I've walked into a fancy hotel lobby every time I walk through my front door!

Greg was very responsive from the beginning, and I only had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment. He and Jared not only arrived on time on installation day, but 15 minutes early. The job and actual chandelier itself that I presented to them were complex and by no means straightforward. To further complicate things, the ceiling I was asking them to install it on is 15 feet tall and slanted. I wouldn't have blamed them if they had walked right back out the door!! However, a quick two hours later the job was totally done (a dimmer switch was also installed during that short period of time), everything had been cleaned up, and I was left a VERY happy customer!

The final product was exactly what I hoped it would be, and actually exceeded my expectations. Greg's rates are VERY reasonable for the quality of work provided. I 100% recommend Greg's Electric, and will absolutely be using them for all of my future electrical needs.
