I had a mixed response with this company unfortunately. I used them for an outlet repair.

Positives:
- arrived on time
- respectful of being quiet when my kid was napping
- worked quickly

Negatives:
- didn't clean up completely-- left a little debris around the work area
- the main reason for deducting stars is that they asked for $60 above the initially quoted rate because they had to leave to get a part. I was not counseled about this up front when booking them, and they had an opportunity to do so over the phone. He settled for $20 above asking without having to consult with his boss, which made me wonder- are they instructed just to come and try to get any more $ they can?

Jorge @ Green Star Electric did several complicated jobs for us over a two day period. He came with his crew first to evaluate what we needed done and give us a price ( that was fair compared to most ). I wish I could give them MORE than five stars. Both days they came exactly on time. They did an amazing job. They installed a new circuit breaker box, a Ring device and installed new outlets in our kitchen area. Jorge explained everything he was doing in detail. He and his crew were very professional and accommodating. Very pleased with their work and would recommend them enthusiastically.

I needed to get an outlet installed quickly on short notice. I called several places but Green Star actually answered the phone. Juan arrived the next day, was very pleasant, understood what was required, and did a great job installing the outlet. I then asked for a larger job replacing a distribution box. Jorge quoted a good price, allowed for easy payment, and got the work done by Juan the next day. This was very helpful for me as I needed the work done quickly. I was impressed with the quality and quickness of the work. Jorge was very responsive whenever we needed to communicate. I will definitely call Green Star first the next time I need electrical work done.

Jorge is always the best to work with, my family and I have been calling him every single time we have an electrical issue that we can't deal with ourselves. He always makes it a priority to make sure that every service he does for us, goes as smooth as possible whether it's big or small! This year we decided to move forward with getting solar panels installed but we really needed to upgrade our electrical panel, called up the only professional I know! Green Star Electric got that handled for us, always impressed with how efficient they are! Been using this team for almost a year now!

Green Star Electric was great! I had them come out to upgrade my electric panel from 100amps to 200amps. They were very attentive to detail, making sure that the work would be done correctly. When the electric company in my area gave me contradictory information about proper placement of the panel, Green Star made sure to follow through and find out the correct information so the work would be done correctly and at the best price. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time to get a permit for the work, but that was an issue with the city, NOT the company and Green Star was fantastic throughout the process. Jorge kept in touch with me constantly about what stage the permit process was in, and did all the hard lifting of acquiring the permit for me. I never once had to worry that they had ""forgotten"" about me or my project, as Jorge checked in with me consistently and regularly to let me know the status, even when there was nothing to update other than an assurance that he was continuing to check in with the city about the status of the permit. With patience, we got it done! Everyone I encountered at the company was easy to talk to, helpful, kind, honest and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

So disappointed with these guys. I hired them for some work and they took forever to get permits (they never got them). Turns out the process to get a permit takes one day and not weeks like they were telling me. They weren't very communicative with me on the process. They didn't tell me I needed to get a meter spot and have Edison come out and unlock our meter. I had to fire these guys because nothing was getting done. I hired another electrician who quoted me 1800 less than what they did and has been in contact with me and walking me through the process. I'm a new homeowner, I don't know a lot and I've been learning as I'm upgrading my home but I do know how to see red flags when getting work done.

Right from the jump I was happy I went with Jorge at Green Star Electric! Needed an electrical repair, and I called him around 10am and he told me he had an open window from 4-6pm same day! He came thru around 4:30 and even made sure to call us before he arrived. Don't really know what was wrong with my electricals but jorge did some wiring and re-wiring! After an hour of him showing, my lights were back to working normal. Told me to call him back if there's any future issues. Great customer service
