Of course, everyone wants their problems fixed immediately. Sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn't. Green Star Electric responded to my Yelp request quickly and I was lucky enough to be able to schedule them to come out within a couple of hours after contacting them. Jorge is a rare breed as far as contractors go--he shows up when he says he will and follows through with quick quote and paperwork and scheduled and completed the job (bringing electric in my garage up to code) within a few days. Our power went out on half of the house on Labor Day. Fortunately, Green Star Electric was able to come ASAP to fix our issue and they didn't even charge us because it was a simple fix. Definitely recommend if you want quick and reliable service!

Jorge and his crew have come out to my place to perform four separate jobs, and on every single occasion, they have been polite, professional, and effective.

When I had them come out to upgrade my circuit breaker sub-panel and install a 240v outlet (so that I could install a Level 2 charging station in my garage for my electric car, they were quick about it, flexible in their dates (it required the power to be turned off for a period of time, so we were able to arrange the work to be done on a day when we wouldn't be home), and they installed the outlet on the wall via a flexible conduit (in case I ever needed to change the position of the outlet). This last point was key, as I did indeed need to move it almost immediately due to it being installed over the studs where I needed to mount the actual charging station (which was my fault, since I told them where to mount it).

When they replaced a burned-out 120v outlet in my garage, they had it done quicker than I could have even asked for.

When they added an outlet in a room that required them to run power from an adjacent room, they did everything that they could to minimize damage to the drywall and repaired whatever damage they could.

Finally, understanding that, sometimes, things just go wrong, Jorge and his crew came out to fix an outlet that had very old wiring and had stopped working after they came in and did a previous job. The wiring was old enough that it would have broken no matter who did the previous work. But Jorge and his crew, after I told them what had happened, came back and fixed it free-of-charge.

The coup-de-grace on all of this is that, for every single job, they came in less expensive (one time by about $1,000) than any other electrician in the area.

I can state, without a doubt, that I will be using Green Star Electric for all of my future electrician needs.

Jorge contacted me quickly when I sent out multiple requests to different vendors. He told me he will be able to help but have to get back to me the next day morning. Got a message the next day am as promised and he was able to send his crew to me around noon. They arrived on time and were able to do the work right away. Jorge quoted me a very reasonable price and I am happy about the result. His crew was courteous and was able to resolve my issue which the previous contractor was not able to. Highly recommended and definitely will use them again!

Jorge and his team were great. Jorge showed at my house shortly after I spoke to him over the phone. Took notes and measurements of my project and left. Shortly after, he contacted me with a fair quote and promised to start the work after few days. I got a call later that he was able to assign the job to some members of his team and that they will be at my place the next day early morning. Indeed, they were here on time the next day and they got straight to work. Half a day later and they were done. The work looks perfect and working as expected so far. Throughout the whole project Jorge was very reachable and responsive even though it was during a weekend. Thank you guys!

These guys did a great job installing some new outlets in my house for a washer/dryer hookup and for replacing my old outdoor light boxes. I would highly recommend Greenstar Electric.

I required an electrician, and a friend referred me to Greenstar Electric. She used their services and was extremely pleased with them.
I called for an estimate, and I spoke with the owner, Jorge, who scheduled a day to come to my home and see the work that I needed to be done. That included; running power for the electrical hook up of an exhaust hood in the kitchen area and replacing the on/off switch in the dining room. Jorge explained to me that his son Rick would be doing the work.
Once I was able to find an installer, I contacted Jorge and advised him that I was ready to have the work done. He coordinated with the hood installer and scheduled a day when they could do the job. Before the installation day, Jorge returned with his son Rick to show and explain what needed to be done.
On the day of installation, it was seamless. There were little to no interruptions; they worked straight through with the hood installers until the electrical installation was complete.
Everything I asked for from the estimate was completed and was excellent. I was more than pleased with the efforts and performance of Rick, the electrician, and the final results. If I need any electrical work completed in the future, I will definitely call Greenstar as I am happy with the cost and results.
Again, both electricians were well-qualified and professional. I would highly recommend them for any electrical service you may need.
