Nick and his right hand partner Travis handled our solar conversion in Santa Cruz. They were always on time, always professional and did an outstanding job for us. Our roof angles and tilts proved challenging to capitalize on the solar output, but their careful planning and timely follow thru delivered a home virtually free of any needed PG&E supplement. They also installed Tesla Power walls to provide uninterrupted power supply to the home regardless of any problems on the ""grid"". We highly recommend Green Air for any such installation you may be considering. As an added bonus, Green Air coordinated the re-roofing of our home with highly efficient roof tiles more resistant to the constant flow of ocean air and sunlight. Our home value has markedly increased with this extensive work done so professionally. Top Notch in every respect.

Used Nick and team 4 years back to put in a 17KW system on two very steep roofs that all the typical solar installers refused to touch.
Nicks team was awesome, on time , on budget and even hooked us up with awesome roofers since we needed a new roof at the same time too.
Ended up having a roof guarantee problem and Nick's team had to re-attach a few ""doohickeys""...all done super fast, no issues, no complaints , no cost.
4 years later system has completely broke-even now printing money
Using Nick and team to install backup Powerwalls . All installed and working perfectly, saving me more $
U get what u pay for , use Nic and pay once ...reap the benefits.
U get what u pay for , pay once and never have any worries

We hired Nick and his team to install our solar and upgrade/replace our HVAC system. Nick and his team were very thorough and clean while working in and around our home. They spent time to go over our systems and answer all of our questions clearly. Our solar looks great and was installed quickly. We were so pleased with Green Air's work that we hired them to install a new furnace in our vacation home too.

Great prices and great service. We wanted to replace our HVAC unit after the AC started failing a couple of summers back. We tried multiple companies and Nick from Green air gave us the best solution and the right cost. Our condo complex has AC condenser units on the roof with no proper access. Every other company that quoted either added a lot of money for the crane or plain refused. I was so glad when Nick came out and knew exactly what was needed and what it would cost. The all in price was very reasonable and He never tried to up sell any random extras. He also worked around our HOA requirements and was very prompt in scheduling and completing the work. I highly recommend Nick and Green air for any complicated HVAC installations.

Beware with this company. Get a estimate of the full cost before allowing them to start the work. We called the company and they gave us a $59 estimate for a general cleaning. The first thing the technician did was pull out one of the filter which was dirty. After seeing this he said the price would be $500. The technician was fast at excepting a lower price. Upon continuing the work he wanted to charge an additional $500 to clean the heater. I felt he came in with the additional cost to make up for the previous discount he gave when I complained about the initial $500 dollar charge. I am an apparently disabled 80 year old man and on a fixed income. To not give a cost of work in full initially is unethical. The technician put me in contact with his supervisor upon my complains and we negotiated a quick decrease in the final price. I intend to investigate further to ascertain if the final price is within the standard fee range for such work. I am making myself a pledge to check with Yelp for all future work I have done before I hire a company. You will note that in the case of Green Air the greatest amount of positive Yelp posts are 2 to 3 years old.

Green Air is my favorite people. Every winter, I can always account on heating system to keep us worm. Our wonderful Radiated eating system was well done and, functioning so nicely worming up the whole house. I appreciate to be able to have liable teem that we can count on. We also got Green Air to do our vacation house heater as well and we are all cozy now. Thank You Nick!!

We first used Nick's company in 2011 to install our first solar system. He and his employees were prompt, took time to answer all our questions and even had to teach the local building inspector about microinverted systems, they were just becoming popular and Nick's company was in the forefront of the market.
We have used him to maintain out heating and air conditioning systems and he has once again proven to be prompt to our needs and performed all services displaying a high skill level.
We have installed two more solar array's since the first one and are very happy with all the work Nick's employees have performed over the years.

Nick and Green Air installed two systems at our Palo Alto new construction ending in 2015, and in the three years since, each of those systems has failed and has been a maintenance problem. The forced air HVAC system never operated properly and is causing problems to this day. And now the solar system is overheating, taking half the system's capacity offline daily. Nick himself is so difficult to interface with that we've given up on going to Green Air for support and have instead paid other vendors out of our own pocket to fix his mess. Nick insists that we must pay him out of pocket for warranty work, even where problems arose during the (all too brief) warranty period and have only run on because of his slow response. And when he did come, he was resentful of having to drive so far to provide service (why he took the job I'll never know). I've never seen anything quite like it. Keep your distance.

While another company performed unrelated work in our attic, their employees ""happened to notice"" our ductwork was subpar. They had a $2000 solution, of course. Obviously hesitant for numerous reasons, I contacted Nick. Nick came out and provided an honest assessment of our ductwork. He didn't try to get us involved with anything we didn't need, such as trying to sell us a product/solution that would cost more than the value it provided our house. He responded timely and was very polite.

We live in an old condo building with virtually useless baseboard heaters. The last few winters have been pretty cold, so we finally decided to research upgrading our heating (and cooling!) options. We decided on a ductless zone system, and met with a few different companies in the area. We went with Green Air, and they did a great job installing a 2-zone system. Even after a miscommunication, they were able to do the job exactly how we wanted it. I highly recommend Nick and his team, and the Daiken ductless system. For the first time since we've lived here, we're warm! Looking forward to a cool summer as well!
