John M. Onorato is the Owner and Master Electrician of record for Go Electric.
His family's involvement in electrical work, particularly his father and two uncles, motivated John to begin his career early.
His father, John A. Onorato, was an electrician in the US Marine Corps and established ""Johnnies Electric"" during the 1960s.
After his time in the US Army, John returned to Houston in 1992, working for numerous major electrical companies.
Over four years, John took night classes at various colleges and technical schools, successfully passing the Houston Master Electrician Exam in 1998.
The Houston Master Electrician Exam was regarded as one of the most challenging in the country at that time, lasting nine hours.
He became one of the youngest Master Electricians in Houston.
In 2001, John founded Go Electric.
