I am extremely happy with brilliant electric. I inquired about the price to install a 240 V outlet for my electric car. They emailed me a price list for various options regarding the length of the run from the main junction box etc.
Before they even came they emailed me a price quote. I found that amazing, and as it turned out the price was
1/3 of the price that I had been quoted from a competitor.
Christian and Michael showed up, verified the price and the job was done in about an hour.
These were clean cut very polite young men.
What more can be said! I am very happy all around and I highly recommend Brilliant electric.

I'm now a believer! I used to dabble in ""Handyman"" ads to for electrical help when problems were beyond my scope/skill level - and with mixed results.
But not anymore. The gang at Brilliant has all my business henceforth. And I'm already passing their name along to friends.
Sarah handled the calls and quick appointment scheduling with smiling competence; I felt better already, just dealing with her.
Then Chris and Michael showed up right on schedule (after an
advance text just to let me know they were on their way).
I paid a reasonable upfront fee just for them to ""troubleshoot"" my problems; that fee is included in the customer's final payment.
In our case, the fixes were fairly simple - much to my relief - and they were gone within the hour.
Their appearance and professionalism match their website - Brilliant!
You won't go wrong -- they're great.

I had a Casablanca fan that was making noise due to old age and a part that needed to be fixed. They gave me two options: 1) Cheaper price to bring the fan to their store and they would fix it. 2) More expensive price to come to my home and fix it. I selected that they come to my home and fix it. They did it quickly and the fan works perfectly. I would use them again.

Used yelp to request a quote for an EV charger installation. Angela was very helpful in requesting pictures of the garage, main breaker box, subpanels, and desired location for the charging station for a quote. Quote was competitive and fair (I got several quotes), and was able to schedule at my convenience when I was ready. Came back a month later to schedule and promptly was able to get someone to come in same week. JD was on time, and super friendly. He checked everything out, had to drop by the hardware store to pick some things up, and even offered to pick up anything I needed from the hardware store (I didn't have any needs at that moment). When he got back, he finished everything around 30-45 minutes and was on his way. The team was very helpful and informative with regards to options for installation (wall charger vs outlet) and upfront about any costs time to completion. Would definitely recommend and will use again for any electrical needs I have!

I just had these guys install additional lighting in my kitchen -- recessed cans and a pair of wall sconces. I have been impressed with their professional service all around -- *everyone* was very friendly and polite; the estimator was creative at devising a least-impact plan for the installation (and very open at answering my many questions); and the installers did a very clean job exactly to spec. The front-office staff (often neglected at many companies) was very much on top of things, calling me back to confirm the appointment, and remembering to check with me to see that the sconces I had ordered had come in on time. Oh yes, and the installers arrived on the dot at the appointed time. I cannot think of anything that could be improved. Highly recommended!

This will be the easiest review I've ever had to write, because I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Brilliant Electric! First, I should mention that I do know the owners of this company and they both are good people...the kind of people you know you can count on and are trustworthy. The kind of people that once you meet them you feel like you've known them forever. These same qualities carry over into their business...and it's very apparent. Second, no matter how highly I think of them personally, I wouldn't leave a 5 star review if I didn't truly mean it. My husband and I are very picky and we have NO complaints about this company, the crew, the work completed, etc.
About our experiences - we've used them three different times and we'd use them again and again and recommend them to everyone! They are experts in their field. Their advice and suggestions have been welcomed and spot on. They are prompt in their communication and arrival. Their pricing is right in line with their high level of service and workmanship. They aren't going to try to sell you on services you don't need or are not within your budget. Their team is trustworthy, neat, patient and so easy to work with. It's rare to work with a company that makes you feel good about working on your home. Brilliant Electric is a gem for sure!
