George is awesome. Replaced my breaker on my circuit panel on the weekend. He diagnosed the issue late on a Saturday and then purchased the part on a Sunday. He showed up on time and was very professional. George speaks fluent English and Spanish. I highly recommend George.

I originally called George up to help fix an installation that had gone horribly for me. He was polite, took my call on a Thursday afternoon, and told me about his upcoming availability, but never pinned down a precise date to come by. As promised, I sent him a bunch of images of the situation, via text message, and waited his response. The weekend came and went and no response from him. When Monday rolled around, I left him two voice messages on his phone...in in the morning and one closer to evening. No Response.

I find this type of behavior completely disrespectful. I would not suggest using him because he is very flaky and does not communicate well. Do a little more research and find someone who gives you more than just lip service.

Our watering system was not working. George came out the day I called him and diagnosed the problem very quickly! It was the controller that was bad. The next day he went to Home Depot and bought the sprinkler control box that was recommended, he installed it but it was not the proper one! He took it down, went back to Home Depot and got the other one which he installed and it is working perfectly. All of this and his charge was very reasonable! Thank you, George!

I'm almost hesitant to write this because I want him to still be a well-kept secret! My experience with George has been fantastic. He is responsive, transparent in pricing and timing and the work he's done so far is fantastic. We have used his services for painting and repair and the result was amazing, on a very, very old (not easy to work on) home. We plan on using him for several other projects and feel very fortunate to have found someone so honest that does awesome work.

I talked to George three times to have a small hole fixed in my drywall said he would do it Monday or Tuesday he would call me back and let me know he did not call me back so I called him on Monday and ask him if it was going to be Monday or Tuesday he said he would call me back on Tuesday between 10 and 11 did not call by 2 PM so I called him and was sent to a voicemail after only three ring so I know that as a way of hanging up on me and the voicemail said it is full and can't take no messages. Would not recommend it
He does not respond to texts or phone calls also I let him know it was a rental and I kind of needed to know if he could do it. At least call me and say you don't want to do it rather than egging me on and having to call you and not get any response from you I would not recommend this person to do any work as he is not responsible enough to make a phone call.

George the handyman has my vote for #1 in the valley found him after calling several of the top pics on Yelp (who took days to respond). They showed up same day I called We had them put up light fixtures move some electrical elements and a thermostat at a fourth of another quote they did the job professionally cleaned up and took the packing material with them. we called again for assistance again they took care of things immediately. We called again and are having garage racks installed as I saw someone had them do this a little while ago we are sold on George the Handyman
