The Generac generator is very reliable. The problem is Generx called me and would not schedule me for my annual service without me giving them my credit card over the phone. This is a huge security risk and banks warn customers never to give out their credit card over the phone especially to someone you have never met. Someone at this company is not paying attention considering I paid them cash for my generator installation. Never give out your credit card or social security number over the phone. If everyone says no they will change this stupid careless policy that puts customers at risk.

Aug 28th my Generx Geneerator was installed with LP for fuel. it is now Sept 6th and I have a red light and my Gen will not work. I was told They would set me up Tuesday and see when they could send someone out to fix it. It is new and doesn't work. All that money and all there big talk how great it is and now no go.!!!!!

Generx did an excellent job for the install and set-up of our 24 KW whole-home generator. We had a brief permitting issue (an incorrect site plan) and a grounding issue in our existing panel that they resolved quickly. All works as promised and they have been very responsive. Their crew was very careful during the install to uncover and avoid damage to our underground cable and sprinkler lines. Everyone form GenerX has been friendly, well trained and prompt!

Just too many issues to list. Everything from poor planning, issues with improper permitting and failure to adhere to the quoted amount. They left me high and dry.

There's lots of other options out there. Don't let this happen to you.

We bought our Generx Generator system over a year ago to be certain we could remain safe at home during a hurricane. My husband has a disability that necessitates full time care and a desire to remain at home. Ten days ago I heard a ""pop"" then my dryer wouldn't start and I had company. After due diligence I ordered a new dryer. The dryer came and didn't work. The installers said I needed an electrician, so the dryer went back. The electrician made an evening call and said the Generator module was the problem. I called Generx Rob at 9:30pm and this morning a scheduler called to let me know Armando would be there today. Bless his heart -- Armando replaced the defective part not only in the module connecting the dryer but also in the second module. I was extremely impressed with the urgency to help us, efficiency and the quality of work and Armando's kindness. We are very satisfied with Generx and Armando and Rob etc. Thank you! Carol

RUN away from any Generac home services. Customer service is HORRIBLE, product is worse. (22kw whole home)
Neighbor went with Briggs.......no problems what so ever and we owned same amount of time. Better product period. I forgot to mention during the install the amount of sprinkler lines and landscape lighting fixtures that had to be made. Unsatisfactory install experience.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used 22KW whole home Generac generator?

From the scheduling to the day of service, Generx personnel all delivered professionally and as promised. The technicians, Angel and Nate, called ahead of their visit and were great to work with and explained everything to us. We feel better knowing we are ready for storm season.
