To respond on the owner's comments: This lady is really good at changing the story. Just one thing: you quote needs signature. Did I sign and approve your quote?? You can tell the story as whatever you want. Show us the proof that you got authorization to start the work!


I should have trusted other bad reviews. I thought they may have changed. But it is not!! They will never change!!

I need a correction for an electricial panel code violation. I got a quote from Geiger. I noticed the quote only covered part of the problem but not all problems. I called and shared my concerns. Matt said he would go and check again the next day to give me a more accurate quote. Please note, I did not sign or approve their quote.

The next day they sent a guy to do the inspection. That guy started the work mentioned on the quote without permission!! The work performed was not correct according to another electrician! They are using wrong materials. They then notify me to charge me for that work!! I guess they will directly put a lien if you don't pay, just as mentioned by other reviewers.

Be aware!! You got some unanthorized work done and they make you pay for it. Then you need to pay more to find another good guy to correct their work!

I was referred to Geiger Electric by our HVAC service, Blankenship, and called right away, since we had a long list of issues in our home relating to electrical.

Matt, the owner, came out quickly to patiently listen to our very long list of issues. I explained what we wanted, and how we wanted it. Some involved adding ceiling lighting. Some involved, problem-solving, light switches. Some involved fixing issues that had been in the home ever since it was built almost 10 years ago.

Matt asked relevant questions, didn't waste time, and within a couple of days produced a specific itemized list showing an estimate for each item we talked about. We decided to move forward with about two-thirds of the items at this time and Matt scheduled the work to be done at a responsive time and in consideration of my work schedule.

Tony arrived on time for our appointment, we reviewed the list together, and he got to work quickly. He finished all of the work in about 7 1/2 hours without distractions.

We've had problems in the past with other businesses crew members who answer their phones, spend more time talking to others, and running off to do another job without finishing ours. In this case, that was not an issue.

Tony was focused, didn't waste time, talked with me about each of the items. He was patient when I changed some details, such as the type of light cast by the bulbs to be installed. He was helpful when I tested all the work.

We were very happy that everything worked the way we wanted by the time he left. And we were happy that the final bill came in about $100 less than estimated.

I know we'll finish all of the items on the list later in the year, and will definitely use Geiger Electric again for that service.

The business side of the service required some clarification, but I found it easy to discuss it and get it corrected. Overall we had an excellent experience, and I recommend Geiger to anyone needing, reliable, professional, and trustworthy service.

I had some electrical work done this week at my home. I needed some outlets replaced, so Geiger Electric came and did the work because I do not mess with electricity. It took a couple of days to make it on to their schedule. Service was fantastic and right on time. The electrician worked diligently to get my work done which I appreciated. Since I have not seen a bill, I'm not exactly sure on the final cost which I'm sure is fine based on the time of work.

They had a work order from the Equity Group to come and do some electric work, but they wouldn't tell me what they were going to do and then they canceled for no reason. Keep in mind I have several electrical code violations in this rental.

Geiger came to look at our existing front lighting surrounding our garage door, outside sensor lights (2) and a hanging light over high covered front door entry. They helped in determining the size and type of replacement fixtures required. They also recommended a couple places to obtain the new fixtures. We purchased the fixtures and they did an excellent job of installing them. They provided an estimated quote and stood by it. The owner initially came out and then then a installer came to do the installation. The workmanship was excellent!

They also provided a separate design and quote to deal with a strange set up for lighting in a jack and jill bathroom, controlled by switches in 2 adjoining guest bedrooms.

We would highly recommend Geiger Electrical for your electrical needs.

Don't trust the ""quote"" they'll double it! Trust me!

They should be embarrassed by their lack of customer service.

I have a degree in PR (public relations) and wish every business was required to learn the business of treating others with respect and common decency, if they keep up this kind of practice they'll be in court more than they're able to collect your hard earned money.

Update: the recent review from ""Kristina S"" is from someone who is associated with the business. Kristina S signed a 20 Day notice sent to me directly from Geiger. She has written a fake review to help their star ratings. Also, her profile was just created. Photo attached.

I have tried to work with the owner again, but she refuses to be civil.

I did request an estimate during the first visit by the Geiger technician. I have never allowed a company to complete work without asking what they'll charge. Yes, I wanted the work done, but only if I agreed to the estimate. I'm not sure who would hire a contractor without asking for a price first! The technician assured me the price would not exceed $500. At this point I moved forward with the work. I trusted him.

I didn't want the owner to come to our property to discuss the issue, because I wanted everything in writing. The technician verbally told me an estimate that's why we're in the situation we're currently in. They like to do everything in person and refuse to do anything in writing. The technician should have never given me an estimate if he wasn't allowed to in the first place. He never mentioned company policy once. The owner will not honor the amount the technician told me, because he wasn't allowed to tell me pricing. She says ""a verbal agreement from an employee is not an agreed upon price"" this means their technicians can tell you a price to get the job, complete the job, charge you whatever they want and demand payment or take you to collections.

The owner has offered payment plans, $100 off and threatened to take us to collections with late fees. The estimate was no more than $500, but the invoice is totalling $1059. $100 off brings the total bill to $959. I believe anyone in our situation would be upset. We're being charged more than double!

The owner refuses to work with us. Her technician has acknowledged speaking to me about the estimate, but she doesn't care. She has called me a liar... It's been an unbelievable horrific experience!!

I have NEVER dealt with such a dishonest company ever!
