Established in 1915, Gaylord Electric Company became Tampa's first electrical contractor and continues to lead in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets nearly a century later.

A partnership was formed in 1984 by Mr. Stanley Gaylord and Mr. Don Miller that combined the expertise of Gaylord Electric Company and Miller Electrical Systems, resulting in Gaylord/Miller Electric Corp. Dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction, economical approaches, and superior work, the success of this partnership is evident as the company nears its 100-year milestone.

The last owner, Don Miller, passed away in 2001, leaving his legacy to a small, devoted team of employees. These employee owners are still committed to ""illuminating the Tampa Bay area"" today as they maintain the business model established by their founders.
