Since 1915, Gaylord Electric Company has held the title of Tampa's first electrical contractor and still stands strong in the residential, commercial, and industrial fields almost a hundred years later.

A partnership was formed in 1984 by Mr. Stanley Gaylord and Mr. Don Miller that merged the strengths of Gaylord Electric Company and Miller Electrical Systems into Gaylord/Miller Electric Corp. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, cost-effective solutions, and high-quality work, the achievements of this partnership are apparent as the company gets closer to its 100th anniversary.

The last owner, Don Miller, passed away in 2001, leaving his legacy to a small, devoted team of employees. These employee owners are still committed to ""illuminating the Tampa Bay area"" today as they uphold the business principles set by their founders.
