Established in 1915, Gaylord Electric Company became Tampa's inaugural electrical contractor, and nearly a century later, it remains a leader in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

In 1984, a partnership was created between Mr. Stanley Gaylord and Mr. Don Miller, merging the strengths of Gaylord Electric Company and Miller Electrical Systems into Gaylord/Miller Electric Corp. Dedicated to customer contentment, economical approaches, and superior workmanship, the success of this partnership is apparent as the company heads toward its 100-year milestone.

In 2001, Don Miller, the last owner, passed away, handing his legacy to a committed team of employees. Today, these employee-owners persist in ""illuminating the Tampa Bay area,"" adhering to the business values laid down by their founders.
