Founded in 1915, Gaylord Electric Company was the first electrical contractor in Tampa and continues to lead in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets nearly a century later.

A partnership was formed in 1984 by Mr. Stanley Gaylord and Mr. Don Miller that combined the expertise of Gaylord Electric Company and Miller Electrical Systems, resulting in Gaylord/Miller Electric Corp. Focusing on customer satisfaction, affordable strategies, and quality craftsmanship, the partnership's success is clear as the company approaches its centennial.

Don Miller, the sole remaining owner, passed away in 2001, leaving a legacy entrusted to a committed group of employees. Today, these employee owners continue to ""light up the Tampa Bay area"" as they uphold the business principles set by their founders.
