Roger and his partner showed up at the house actually before I did (traffic was bad), but neither of them complained.

Job was to install a Tesla Wall Charger and they did a great job and extremely quickly. They even educated me on how the builders of the home had taken some short cuts on the wiring of our ""car charger"" panel so he made some recommendations and changed the location of installation for the better.

Install was super quick and less than an hour!

After purchasing our EV we needed to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet to charge. I was referred to Roger, texted him a few pictures, and he sent me a price and scheduled a time. He and his mate came a few days later and knocked out the job in 90 minutes. Our job was extremely straight forward, he just had to drill through stucco wall and run wire right behind our panel without a run. I probably could have found someone cheaper or tried to do it myself, but Roger was professional, efficient, friendly, and still cheaper than the estimate I got from a local company. I'd call him for further needs without hesitation.

This really is as good as it gets. I contacted Formosa Electric with an issue regarding a particular outlet not working properly on my kitchen island. All other outlets on the island and in my kitchen were working properly, just this stubborn outlet.

I made sure the circuit breaker to the kitchen was working in the ""on"" position and even turned it off and back on to make sure. I was very hesitant in taking the problematic outlet apart.... so I reached out to Formosa Electric via Yelp's ""Request a Quote"" button.

Shortly after I contacted them, Roger replied via email AND a phone call, and asked me to reset all the GFCI outlets in the kitchen. I did so and it resolved the issue! He could have done this via a service call and charged me $$ for his services but he didn't. He took the time to help me out without expecting anything in return. Who does that in today's world?? That to me tells me a lot of his professionalism, service, integrity and speak volumes about the kind of person he is.

If I ever need ANY electrical work or service, I'm not going to bother searching for anyone else.

Upgrading the main power panel required very good works! After i went over many electricians on Yelp. I came up in my search and found Formosa.
Formosa had a good number of reviews, most are 5 stars.
Formosa came out and looked over the house and provided a very reasonable estimate.
We worked out a schedule for the work to be done and they were very accommodating.
Roger arrived with a couple of additional gentlemen. They were very professional, fast but thorough and provided good quality work.

I can't emphasize how important it is to use Yelp when you're looking for good quality as a consumer. It's the best way to ensure you get the best quality goods and services in addition to maximizing your investment.

Roger is an amazing electrician and super friendly with customers !! We had a short outlet from the microwave. I gave Roger a call around 6:30pm and Roger shown up within an hour. He was able to diagnose the cause of the short outlet right away and fixed it in 10 minutes. I would use him again and highly recommend him for any electrical needs !!

It's very easy to work with Roger.

The most concern to me at that time was living room would become ugly once he didn't cover the hole he drilled for pulling lines and repaint it well. But it turned out just perfect as he promised! You would never know where he drilled a hole on the wall or ceiling if I didn't tell you!

I also worry about light color and bright. But again, as he promised, no problem at all! And dimmer is just too helpful since my housing has so many windows sometimes you don't really need to turn them on the brightest or before bedtime, adjust light bright, it helps kids move into sleeping model.

I'm picky on professional and safety issues since these are regarding electricity and housing here are all built from wood.

Each general contractor told me they can do accessed light but Roger is the only one who has special electricity license and is qualified to become Solarcity's subcontractor. Also, he always responded very fast. It helps busy mom a lot! That's why I chose him.

After whole house LED lights project, I needed a new outlet in the garage. He did a great job than I expected.

Roger is very friendly and polite. No problem for communicating in English.

We enjoy our LED lights everyday very much. Hope so do you!
