We have a Stealth Fan manufactured by Casablanca Fan Co. -- a relatively expensive fixture as far as ceiling fans go. Anyway, over an ensuing 13 years of year-round use, the spin developed a problem. I contacted Casablanca -- they, in turn, referred me to Mike Fisher.

Mike diagnosed the problem, telephonically, brought the part needed during his initial visit, and immediately made the correct repair. Quite separately, he also advised about some pulsing LED lights that we have, & then equipped me with a strategy for getting these faulty fixtures replaced by the manufacturer -- this additional diagnosis & advice was rendered at no additional charge.

In short, Mike Fisher, diagnosed & fully repaired our primary problem on-the-spot. Additionally, he provided additional effective guidance at no extra charge. All-in-all, this was a stellar result at the price quoted, while having imparted some additional wisdom from which my wife & I are planning to benefit...Impressive.

Fisher Electric will definitely be invited back into our home for future electrical jobs.

I called Fisher Electric from the phone book and had an awful experience. All I needed was a garbage disposal switch replaced, but their technician, Kyle, tried to talk me into having my main panel and sub panel replaced. He went and bought the materials without ever giving me an estimate or price. It turned out later he wanted about $2,000 each for the job (after he'd already bought the materials). Later, another electrician in my neighborhood told me there was no need whatsoever to replace the panels. Kyle was very deceptive; he outright lied to me several times. I finally called him out and canceled the job. I was over-billed for the switch replacement, too. It's Mike Fisher's fault, as he sets the tone for his business. Definitely NOT recommended.

Mike and his crew installed a 9.8 kW solar system on our home. They completed in time estimated, left a clean work site, and at a very reasonable price. A few panels didn't register on the inverter and required a couple of repair trips, but he got them working. I have no complaints.

Mike Fisher and son J.J came to repair my Casablanca ceiling fan. It was a new installation in an outdoor patio. My regular electrician was unfamiliar with the new wireless system that Casablanca is using this year, so the fan was not functioning. It took Mike and his son less than 30 minutes to get the system running. They installed the switch and spent several minutes with me explaining how it operated and made sure I knew how everything worked.

They were pleasant, professional, and fair. He arrived exactly when he said he would, plus he called in advance to confirm his timing (as I had requested). I would likely use them again in the future. I live in Los Altos.

Fisher electric . Worst experience I ever had with a contractor . Nice guy horrible work . I had Mike install pool solar panels on my roof in April 2013 and it exploded three times on my roof and leaked numerous other times . There are so many things wrong I don't have the space to write them all down . A very dissatisfied customer

Mike Fisher is very dishonest and you cannot trust his work. I paid over $2k to have a new panel put in, only to find out when another electrician came in to do some work that Mike had NOT replaced the panel, but merely put a new case over the old wiring. This all happened while my partner was on Hospice, dying of cancer, do not trust Fisher electric!

I had Mike come out to do a few different projects - he upgraded our panel to 200 amp, installed recessed lighting in our living room and rewired/replaced all the outlets and switches. He did a great job. His fees were very reasonable - not cheap, but not overpriced by any means. He is licensed and insured and worth the price.

Also, his customer service was excellent. He's busy, so sometimes it took a day or two to return a call, but that's to be expected IMHO. Our house was left clean (cutting through drywall is DUSTY!!) and when there was a crack in the ceiling from installing the recessed lights, he immediately patched it up good as new. Very happy with the work and would use him again.
